I feel like an for saying this, but I'ts true. I'm getting somewhat bored in Minecraft. You're probably thinking "Bored in Minecraft? Impossible!" And that's exactly what I used to think. But now, I just feel like I've run out of things to build. I started my main world in late september and I just keep adding new stuff to it all the time. I have about 19 diffrent builds on the outside, and I dont even know how many on the inside of my main base. I even have an established base in the Nether. I like to explore, but now, I have to walk for a REALLY long way (even in the nether) to get to the edges of my explored map. I've mined so much that I have about 15 stacks of iron remaining (and I use iron tools and have built a missile which took 44 blocks of iron to make) , 3 stacks of diamond, 2 and a half stacks of gold and a chest full of redstone and another one of coal. I have gathered over 5 stacks of brick blocks and have more obsidian than I am ever going to need.
My creativity is lacking right now, since I really have no idea what else to do in Minecraft, one of my favorite games of all time. So I'm gonna go ahead and ask the community. What is there to do in Minecraft that hasnt been done yet? Something cool, something outrageous, something to make the (minecraft) world a better place! Thanks in advance for whoever responds.

A wise man once said, "A troll feeds on the souls of good people. Feed the troll and you will suffer unforseen consequences."
Go play smp.
No, really. That's where all the fun stuff happens, once you realize that you are just building for yourself on singleplayer.
Exactly - once you find a good server, it's most likely to be what all of your time will be spent on. It's more fun to show off your incredibly awesome creations to people who build cubes of dirt.
And yeah, the search bar is pretty broken for me too.
Get a boat and all the supplies you can carry, then go to the ocean, get lost on a random island as far away from
your spawn point as possible, then get the resorses to make that ENTIRE ISLAND coverd by a huge dome and
make it into a giant base with multiple floors, and connect ALL the caves too. This will take you a while.
step 1: make a platform in the sky.
step 2: make a 2x2 hole, and fill it with lava suspended by ladders
step 3: use a fishing rod to barbecue some ham/chicken/beef/mutton/creeper-chops.
Wow, you have lots of stuff. All I have is a house, a nether shack, farm, and a lava pillar of doom.
OT: Make models of animals legitimately. That'll keep you busy.
figure out where your important stuff in the main world maps to in the nether, and make a protected railway/subway (using your 15 stacks of iron -- which might not even be enough) for fast travel between the long long distances in the main world.
remember that 1 block traveled in the nether equates to 8 (or something like that) in the main world. so on a rail, it's really fast.
will take plenty of planning and will be sure to keep you busy for a while. good luck
Blow stuff up. You can never get bored when playing with TNT :biggrin.gif:
Actually you can. But if you download a more bombs mod or use MCedit to fill 1.4 million blocks with PURE TNT like i did...
Well, my minecraft crashed when i turned it on and when i came back the tnt was still intact. Try it out, maybe it works.
Getting records is fun but quickly gets boring. I would bring a ration of materials and build a large city on a far away isalnd and then make a road that connects everything of yours. You could recreate the Runescape map which would be cool being an ex-Runscaper myself. Mods would also be a good idea but I personally dislake SMP because of all the greifers and robbers.

I'm back from my eternal slumber of 2 or 3 months. A long-ass time.
Oh boy, visual basic. I can barely contain my excitement.Not.
Okay, here's what I do in most of my Mining and Crafting:
Build TNT cannons
Build TNT cannons that LOOK like they work, but blow themselves up (make your friend operate it!)
Blow up random crap
Set fires
Spawn 30 creepers, and put lightning on them. Turn of fly... (mods)
Have a wolf-sheep war
Build statues, use TNT cannons
Experiment with water
Build an obsidian generator
Play Zombiecraft
/kick pyrokitt (don't ask)
Redstone contraptions
/kick pyrokitt
Run a server
/kick pyrokitt
Play around with lightning in single player commands

I tend to just make random things around my base when I get bored but don't yet have the nerve to turn monsters back on. I started with a rose garden on a platform in the air as an homage to The Adolescence of Utena. Then I started making a ship with a swan figurehead because I was on a Tolkien kick. (Actually, I still haven't finished it - I keep having to go and get more steel.) I also went on a sheep-shearing adventure so that I could dye enough wool to make a rainbow pride flag.
find a mod like this airplane mod <http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=198188> and work on building this huge airfield and some sort of course. After looking over this mod, it's a challenge just to even make the planes themselves, but its still fun!
