hi i think this is a really awesome thing you are doing and im not trying to be greedy but i would really like a gift code because i cant afford minecraft right now and i really love it so it would be amazing if you could buy a gift code for me. Thanks so much, :smile.gif:
Dansparrow is right, you should do that, i have had someone with 6 accounts grief my house on my fav server once, (and btw, the server is not a cracked one, i use my friends account if you didnt see... my friends name is Blawdgarm though, just if a moderator wants to see...) it ticked me off, i mean SIX ACCOUNTS! I spent about 12 hours on that house, the house was more of a castle, but still... The only reason i knew it was the same person was because the op told me, when he looked at the loggin in IP's, but it always couldve been hacked accounts, or he had ppl at his house... but in the end we banned his ip XD
THANKS YOU SO MUCH VEXX, IF YOU NEED ME TO DO ANYTHING I WILL, EVEN IF IT IS JUST PLAIN STUPID, THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH, btw, when you make the account, do you make the name? or do you pm me for the name, or what? and btw, i have 1 more post for the day:( this is my last, thanks you SO MUCH THOUGH, I AM SERIOUS
Haha no worries :smile.gif:
You need not repay me.
Ok...I didn't want it to come to this but, see my grandmother needed to go to the hospital and my parents needed extra money for groceries so i had to end up selling a few games and what not. Then when we were doing good, I didn't have any money to buy it now. Now, I started saving some money that I got scraping around and picking up money from around and what not. I finally had enough to buy it but, my parents were paranoid about using a credit card or even using a pay-pal account. Now my grandmother has been sleeping in my room and the day she left my house, my money is missing from my money tin. She probably took my money thinking it was hers (She's a bit wrong in her head). I try to tell them but, they just continue saying well you don;t have your money so you can't buy it....And there is my story.
And IF you do give me a code, thank you very very much.
Added :smile.gif:
Please note, all of you:
Each person on the list represents (normally) one week -- although in the next few weeks I'll be working a lot more and should be able to give out a few extra -- so you will probably have to be very patient if you're at the bottom of the list (:
I'm hoping some people catch on and donate, to make the process go faster... but we'll see.
Hmm.. I have been hacked and are currently waiting on a few replies from some e-mails and such.
If I don't manage to get my account back, I would like a gift code please.
But besides the point, any advice on helping me get my account back?

First of all, e-mail the Mojang guys to see what they can do.
Second, ensure there is no malware on your computer -- try running a MalwareBytes scan. Even if you get a new account, it could still be hacked if there's any keyloggers or other malware on your computer.
Third, get a really good antivirus if you do find anything with MalwareBytes (Such as AVG, or some other similar one... TrendMicro is a good one, but costs...)
Idea: you should domehow promote people on the list who will post a screenshot/video/save file or whatever evidence of them being awesome in Minecraft (creating interesting stuff, doing a funny let's play etc). That will actually tell people who really need the game from scammers that will resell your codes and people who need accounts for griefing and stuff (because what griefer will bother creating something nice?). As far as I could tell, most of the people here have access to Minecraft either from a borrowed account or cracked version, so that would be fair.

(Also + this if you approve)
But that wouldn't be fair for people who is in the first places and doesn't want to play a pirated version of the game. Some people actually respects the "rules" and doesn't want to steal the game. And let's face it, 90% of the people who could post something like that, would probably be pirating the game, because you'd need A LOT of time to make something really interesting, which usually doesn't happen with borrowed accounts.
And't frankly, being so desperate to use a cracked version doesn't give people any merit or makes them better than legit people for something like this. On the contrary, I think that kind of people should be right at the bottom :/

I don't think crying at the monitor because you can't buy the game but the MORALITY stops you from pirating makes you more legit that pirating and being awesome and doing good stuff to the community. And the first kind of people tends to post more beggar threads on the forums. After all, there's a chance they won't like the game itself when they would get it, however they liked it the videos or whatever info about it, so they would just stop playing it after a week or so. Donator's money lost for no reason. And the second kind actually knows what they are doing.
Oh actually thought about this being simply unfair to people who are in the first places. But vexx could just make a second list of people for that...
Here's how it works:
Usual list - guys 1 2 3 4 5 6
The promoted list - guys 7 8 9
Week 1: vexx randomly choses the list, it's the promoted one, so guy 7 gets a code.
Week 2: another random choice, this time it's the usual one, guy 1 gets a code.
Week 3: randomization, usual list again, guy 2 gets one.
...and so on.
Calculations show this is actually more fair to the people on first places (they don't get moved all the way down).

Well that's my opinion.
So what? It would be lost anyway, it doesn't matter if the code is given this week or next year. So the order won't affect that. If you played an illegal version and got addicted to it, lte's face it, that's your problem, but that doesn't mean you have more rights than other people, so please, stop crying and wait.
And by the way, legit precisely means doing the things right, look for it on the dictionary, you think you're awesome, you're way too far from that, stop thinking you're actually better than someone just because you decided to use a fake game to pretend you're a minecraft player.
And that's all I have to say to you, don't reply please, I won't read any more of your nonsenses, I don't want this thread to be ruined with some useless conversation. Good luck and have fun :smile.gif: I know you will, since you don't need a gift code to do it :wink.gif: Cya!
Thank you. From now on I think it would be wise to make suggestions through PM to the OP. He would rather not have this thread clogged with discussion so he can go through it easier.
Also, he probably won't call anyone a fat troll... :tongue.gif:

Replied to this via PM, and my opinion is similar to below...

Sorta agreed. I'm thinking probably prioritising people who have no access to the game, since they would probably benefit more.

it is their choice if they find out they don't like it -- they could always give it to someone else.
I have yet to find anybody that, having played Minecraft with access to proper tutorials and such, actually doesn't like the game.

Mmh. People would wonder how "random" it is and complain about that. Don't need more nuisances :tongue.gif:
One list is enough, methinks.

Please don't call a good debate "nonsenses". He had an idea and was trying to see what people thought. Obviously his idea wasn't favourable in your opinion, but that's no reason to say something like that :smile.gif:
And besides, even if they have access to Minecraft through hacked client or someone else's account, giving them a gift code will reduce the number of people pirating Minecraft.
Neh. Been there, done that. It's OK for this thread to be used for discussions, but keep them relevant and no flaming please... also, it's probably better that it's done on the thread because it bumps it, and also allows people to clearly see others' opinions. better than keeping them hidden unless they're just plain useless, imo.

Hi there. I'd like a gift code please because my parents don't let me buy things over the internet because they think we'll get "hacked". Also i'm a student, so money is kind of low at the moment. Thanks if you read this dude.
No worries :smile.gif:
Sure, added ^^

No, discussion is good :biggrin.gif:
Agreed :/
Not enough people on the forums actually make well thought-out responses, preferring to just post random trash. Ugh.

Now we can finally multiplayer and it's a blast.
Reasons: I don't have cash AND my parent's don't trust the internet at all to let me buy it online.
