should notch make it so that you can play minecraft via your nintendo dsi/xl/3ds console? it could be available through the shop thing
Ahhh ye-no ruins the point of the game and if he did it would suck, if my pc can barely handle minecaft how could the ds even view a picture of it, And it would have horribl(er) graphics, slow game play low framerate so just grow up.
3ds 200 mhz cpu with 128 mb of ram
dsi 133 mhz cpu with 16 mb of ram
ds 66mhz cpu with 4mb of ram
So that's not enough cpu power and ram?
3dses can play flash and youtube in the browser
dsis can play smooth scrolling games right in the browser with highscores and support for a/d-pad(a=enter dpad=arrow keys) full-featured chat rooms in the browser, photoshop-like drawing program in the browser, photoshop-like animated gif maker in the browser
dses can do the same thing as the dsi (except the browser for the ds isnt free, while the dsi browser is)
the above proves this can be done,
and I found a non-flash non-java 3d minecraft world viewer that could be easily made into mobile (for 3ds, ds and dsi), a article somewhere that flash can do the same thing as java (for 3ds), a non-flash, non-java mini minecraft game for the dsi and ds browser (also could be done with 3ds browser), Vimeo made a non-flash non-java video player that proves this can be done (for ds, dsi, and 3ds).
And, if you do it with the above, you dont even have to use the shop! You could just goto minecraft.net and it would detect you are using a ds/dsi/3ds (it can do that, why else does it redirect you to m.microsoft.com if you goto microsoft.com on your ds/dsi/3ds?) and goto m.minecraft.net and automatically log you in. (dsi/3ds browser (i do mean ONLY dsi/3ds browser, not ds browser) use cookies(files stored in-browser most commonly used for "Remember Me" option on sites) and dsipaint.com auto-logs you in if you select "Remember Me".)
There's a homebrew application for the DS where you can play Minecraft and it looks REALLY good. :smile.gif: Of course it's nothing like the real game due to technical limitations but it's still surprisingly good for a DS homebrew application.

you just have a bad pc then if your pc can barely hold mc what about the people playing world of warcraft or league of legend etc....
I think it would be cool, but too much for the game system to handle. I always wanted Minecraft on my 3DS, but somehow I knew it wouldn't work out. I think it's more likely to be on the new PS4 coming out (That I might get, I already got a PS2 (So many memories!!) and a PS3)
