Hey guys, I'd like my friends to try out Minecraft, and everything went smoothly, Mojang account and verifications were all good, but when they tried to log in to the Minecraft Launcher it said, "Login Failed". We retried lots of times and the servers were up. Now here's the weird part, the demo version worked perfectly fine on the online version! If anybody knows what's going on, please help Because other people would also prefer to play on their desktops.

By online version do you mean playing in browser? If so, Then did you mean that they played the demo fine in browser, but with the launcher it isn't working? If that is what you mean then this is likely just a permissions/security issue. The browser is able to connect, but the security on the PC isn't letting the launcher version connect. Put exceptions in antivirus and firewall for minecraft.exe (you might also need to do java.exe and javaw.exe), make sure that your router if there is one isn't blocking the default port the minecraft client uses. You might try right clicking the launcher and telling windows to run as administrator.

I tried it with terrible results. I gave my wife my glasses for a second, a creeper showed up and now my wife is pregnant.
Stupid 3D..
