So I am using a Mac and would like to send my Minecraft single player world by email in a zip file. So I know that I can go on Finder--> Library --> App Support and find the Minecraft file there. But .. the thing is, that when I bought minecraft i bought it on my old laptop. So i just dragged the app onto my new laptop without saves and stuff etc. So how can i get my single player world to be saved? Please help nobody can help me resolve this.
At the very least, you need to take the /saves folder from the old laptop and put it on the new one.

Did your world disappear from minecraft? Is it corrupt? Lags? Can't move? "Saving Chunks" Crash? Crashes when you open chests? It can be saved!

Yeah I realized after I made the mistake, any way I can resolve it?
Do you not have access to the old laptop?

Yeah i took the whole folder from my other computer, dragged it onto the new one and deleted the old saves since they were not the same. But now nothing new is saving there.
If you deleted the old saves, you should get rid of everything minecraft related from the old laptop.
On your new laptop, all your minecraft stuff should save on it's own in your ~user/library/application support/.minecraft folder

What happened was, I wanted to use Minecraft on my new laptop. So I dragged the app only without any folders. Which I realized was a mistake. It did not create its own App Support folder though. So I dragged the App Support Minecraft folder from my old laptop onto my new one, and deleted the old saves. On my old laptop I had a world named "New World" and I deleted it to make space in the "saves" folder thinking that my new minecraft world would save into that folder. But nothing happened. Now i have no idea where my minecraft world is stored on my new laptop. Also i use mods so does that have anything to do with it?
Well you right click saves and click add to archive and then go to gmail and then click select file and send your saves through email and download your minecraft by your account and then replace tsaves folder with
the one you have
