300% max, with the ability to stop partway if you seriously don't want to wait half an hour for each ingot.
Well, you can get a bit more that 300% increase. It is a bit random. I had tested it in 1.3.2, and for one stack of Iron, I had gotten 3 stacks and 9 ingots (64*9 +3).
And in case you are wondering how that figure is so exact, refer page 17 of factorization's thread.
And it is not half an hour for each ingot, but anything from 1 to around 7 ingots. That is if you limit yourself to 1 crystalizer. I used 4 together to speed it up.
Your new modded series is awesome!!! I'm enjoying it sooooo much!
But,when i launched your cool modpack with FTB, it just gave me vanilla minecraft! I tried force update, but it didn't do anything. I suppose i scrwed the installing procces up and now it's probably unfixable.
I would appreciate if you gave me a piece of avise or (if not that much of a trouble) if you made another installation video for the mods you're using in your modpack or maybe a short tutorial in response to my comment?
Thanks for your time! You are my favourite youtuber!!!
Go to where you installed your FTB launcher, enter its folders and remove the Direwolf20 folder. Then try again. If that doesn't work, look at the console to see if you got any errors, and ask about them in FTB forums and channels. There should be a solution for you.

Maybe you could try using the Chicken Chunks chunk loader instead. Otherwise, I have no clue.. you might submit your crash log to the Mystcraft forums or something, see if there's an answer there.

i have a problem with your goto program: every time i try to move the turtle. it just move 1 time forward even when i ask other things please help
Dire's goto program requires a set of functional GPS host computers placed in your world. Go to the ComputerCraft forums and look up GPS satellite designs.
I noticed in one of the videos that Direwolf20 used the Minium Stone from EE3 as a portable crafting table. When I press the 'C' key on mine, it does nothing. I did notice there was a keymapping conflict with Rei's Minimap, as the same key is used for setting waypoints.
I initially noticed a couple of conflicts with this key, and remapped the others.
This has occurred in both Pre 1e and Pre 1f, which I loaded only a short time ago.
On a more positive note, I like the FTB launcher. It really takes the guesswork out of installing mods that used to occur with Season 4 before it was made. No more having to resolve block ID or version conflicts any more.

The minium stone and philosopher's stone isn't C anymore its P or somthing near that key(I changed mine in the controls thing)
The minium stone and philosopher's stone isn't C anymore its P or somthing near that key(I changed mine in the controls thing)
I found it, thanks.
It was the extra key. I had mine mapped to 'B' without realizing it. What threw me off was the 'C' key mapped to pocket crafting table, from the Factorization mod.
Can someone please help me. Every time I launch the pack it just brings up vanilla minecraft. I have updated java, re downloaded the launcher, and I have even deleted java and re installed. Any ideas on how to fix this?
A vast improvement on vanilla enchanting, in my opinion. Because:
Allows you to pick the enchantments you want to add (mix and match possible).
Enchantments still cost as much XP as their equivalent random vanilla enchantments do (so it is not 'cheaty')
Allows transfer of enchantments between items (at the cost of XP. Cost goes up based on number and quality of enchants)
Allows the repair of items (at the cost of XP. Cost goes up based on number and quality of enchants)
Allows disenchanting of unwanted enchants (at the cost of XP.)
Number of nearby bookshelves lowers the XP cost of all enchanting actions. (Though, only to a limit. So now free, cheap or even cheapish enchants from just stacking bookshelves... again, not 'cheaty').
I had never really used the enchanting mechanic at all, until I got that mod.
The biggest reasons being the no more "Terrible-ennchant-is-terrible" and also XP is now actually a useful resource (especially if you repair your tools using this. I often end up running out of XP unless I build a mob XP grinder.)
I'm actually using this mod with the Direwolf20 pack right now. I usually use Thebombzen's EnchantView, but it is only at 1.4.5, and is also not compatible with Optifine, which I also use.
I'm at a point where I really need to get going on either IC2 or Thermal Expansion machines: I have 2 iron chests full of ore, both processed and unprocessed, not to mention vis shards of each type, Xychorium gems, quartz crystals (think those might be from Mystcraft), and so on.
One thing I'm really curious about is the Stolen Presents. I've gotten around a half stack from killing skeletons and zombies in my spawner rooms. They do not appear to have any use from what I can tell.

I believe quartz crystals is from Xycraft. Not sure what their use is.
Direwolf, how did you automate the fireworks display in the New Year's video?
If you pause the video at 35 seconds, you can see that Direwolf used two rows of deployers down the sides of the "ball", plus one in front. Dispensers will choose randomly from among their slots, while deployers will choose in the same sequence every time, not that this is relevant in the display as shown. I'm betting wireless redstone and red alloy wire were used underneath the platform to control the two "sets" of deployers (sides and center), as well as activate the ball drop. Add in a computer and monitor to show the countdown and message, and a computer up on the viewing platform to control it all.
And if you read the description of the New Year's video, he put the world download in the OP, so go back to the start of this thread, download the world and use his modpack, and you, too can look over his work in person. The setup is even saved pre-showtime so you can examine everything before setting it off.

You should take a look into the Enchanting plus mod.
