It would be awesome if you updated this map to use the relative view direction teleportation in the 1.8 snapshots. I think the experience would be so much more seamless!
=D That's a good point! When the official 1.8 release is out, I'll do that. =)
Ok, I drew a map, and the green side says I got 5 of them, but on my map I got at least 6... Is it broken, or are there actually more than 8?
EDIT: Ok, I completed the map, found 7 pads, already had them all, it still says I have 5.
Hmm, very weird... There are exactly 8 pads (if you want, check out the videos in the main post to see other people finding them all). Maybe try throwing emeralds in the ones you have on your map again... See if the lamps change. If not, then tell me.
Also, don't forget that the green pad on the hill in the flower garden counts.

Ok, including the flower garden, I have all 8 pads. Also, in the video, the large chest has things in it, but for me it was empty...
Okay... Now type "/scoreboard players list <your user name>", then hit T (because it's too large to show in the chat), and tell me the results.
The large chest in the beginning? Are you sure you haven't already taken the things out of it? (The welcome book and the chips?)
The results are: everything there is a 1 except for Emerald6 7 and 8 and EmeraldFinal. And no, I didn't take anything out of the chest, I just thought that something was going to appear in it later or something. I'm going to redownload the map now, see if that fixes it.
EDIT: Yep, that fixed it. There is stuff in the chest now.
EDIT 2: Ok, now what "puzzle items of each kind" do I through in the thing for the bonus area?

That's quite strange. Maybe the file somehow corrupted when you downloaded it first. Try the emeralds with the new download (shouldn't be too hard since now you have a map =) ).

That's part of the riddle! If you really can't figure it out, then again you could watch the videos (only rsmalec & Fellonius and SnoShoe & Qmagnet went to the bonus area).
I will give you a hint... the "Once you a white trophy find" is important.
I've updated the map to version 1.4, with a couple fixes.
Now on multiplayer you shouldn't be able to fall through the trip wire! Of course that means I had to move the Super Secret Buttons. They're now easier to find.
I also fixed all the "acquires"... thanks Qmagnet and SnoShoe for pointing that out... I honestly don't know how I totally missed them. And for all this time...
Very nice map, and some puzzles drove me crazy (good crazy), but I've finished both normal and bonus cubes. Just found one secret room, but I was too exhausted to look for the others. Overall 9/10 great concept great execution great puzzles.

When 1.8 comes out just put the resource pack into the map named "resources.zip" and it will automatically apply it when entering the map, this currently works with the snapshot 14w07a and higher.

Yeah, I saw that in the snapshot notes. =) I'm happy that they're making so many great map-making tools.
on emerald i found all 8 pressure plates, all the lamps are lit up but the redstone signal doesnt go to the top of the cube(where the 4 lamps are). please tell me what to do and how can i fix it. EDIT: so i recounted all the pressed presure plates and there were 7.
How did you do the "that gamemode is not allowed" thing... I need that if i make a map for bodil40
You need to use the /tellraw command. So I used:
tellraw @a "Sorry, that game mode is not allowed!"
in a command block. And of course you need command blocks to test for players in creative mode and to then set them back to survival (or adventure) mode.
Very awesome map but I'm getting rather annoyed about the oversensitive teleporters in the sand bits. When I have to put the green clay as white, I always get 1 clay green, regardless of what I do. Frustration to the max

Just keep at it. You'll get it.
Don't forget that you can step on two pressure plates at once.

Grr! That's the second time that's happened. I think it's because there was a "-" in the link... Anyway, thanks for telling me. =)
I fixed it, hopefully for good, by changing the link address to one I know works.

That's about it! =) Happy puzzling!

Yes, I do believe there are 6 sets. =)
I'm glad you liked it. =)
don't click this link...
Hope you enjoy it. =)
Nice! I see you had fun with the mining fatigue. =)
