Looks cool, I'll give it a go. I don't do video but I'll edit my screen shots in as I play.
This is a neat map. Very well put together.
Main challenge:
-Find a working vehicle.
Other challenges:
-Find food in abandoned buildings.
-Chop down a tree to get wood. -Make a refuge. Must have a chest, a workbench and a furnace.
-Find clothing and medicine.
-Craft a bow and arrows.
-Make a map.
-Find a renewable food source. (I planted a watermelon)
-Tame a wolf.
-Use the Empire State Building's antenna.

Review Summary
This is the kind of survival map that someone who doesn't like pure survival would enjoy.
A nice, shortish survival map with proper character motivation. I really enjoyed the vehicle search mechanic. Gear was sparse, but as long as you keep it daylight and stick to the streets or roofs, it's not that challenging. Spoiler: don't bother going onto the massive blue bridge - seemed a huge waste of time. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this one!
Total Rating: 15/20
Creativity - 3 (above average - I love the vehicle search mechanic)
Detail - 4 (excllent, for a survial map)
Experience - 3
Challenge - 2 (easy to avoid danger. Food was the toughest challenge)
Progression - 3 (limited wood made gear feel scarce, but the void broke the immersion, and going across the bridges was a waste of time)
Interesting spawn room. Difficulty selection, but no rules or backstory.
Ah, here's the backstory.
City looks nice.
Gold ingot. Does that represent currency?
Going up in this building and will try to cross the roofs, looking for a vehicle
No wood in here yet. Plenty of wool for bridging.
I like the circular rails on buildings as fans/vents.
ah - trees. Ooh, nice building crack. I was thinking the city looked too intact, but wasn't going to mention it because a plague wouldn't necessarily destroy the city. I like this building tho.
made bed so I shouldn't have to worry about any night mobs up here
Ice windows - looks pretty good
I do think it's a little immersion breakinng to see the void and spawn area instead of a large city. Why not surround it with endless water at least, and just tell us not to leave manhattan island?
Pretty sure that truck isn't the way out, but going down through this building with intent to see
The cab of the truck needs seats, but I like the command block output
Same with these other 2 cars (nice command block)
no command block in this brown car on the next street (but I do see redstone under the lever)
mobile home. oh dear, a head on the street.
diamond in cactus truck
McDonalds!
Zombie spawner
no cars up ON the bridge?
bridging across to the helicopter (might be too obvious if this is the end)
haha. it's not. nice.
hmm - maybe that orange boat
easy to avoid the buildings and keep it day with this bed, but food is a problem and while I have an ok sword, I'm suffering for armor - if I get into a mob situation I'm toast
chicken swimming in the water
golden apple and iron ingot
I thought this bridge being cut in half was just a 'boundary', but the text in this blue car makes me think it's in-character. maybe the bridge was cut to keep people on the island?
back to this other (blue) bridge.
hey - it leads over a road...? but then ends. hmm.. .this is a waste of time coming all the way out here
going along the road. other end of the red bridge. hmm.. doesn't seem to be anything over here tho.
checked a few more cars. ambulance
I really like the end 'scene' except the slimes. simple yet effective for the mood
I kinda want to go back and see what is up on the Empire State Building's antennae
Also, I would have liked more flavor/lore mixed in. Examples: text on the license plates, signs on buildings, written books left behind. Just makes the world feel a little more real.
For fun, I went back in creative to see what I missed in the buildings...
I like Robert Neville reference with the radio.
Why did I not even see subway earlier? Lots of ore down here.
Ah - definitely more gear options in the buildings, but may have been tough at first with just the wooden sword and 4 torches.
Nice, I enjoyed reading your review, very accurate! I like your rating system, it is very useful to me to improve the map or have it in mind for the making of my new maps, thanks!
Did you see the SOS post on the end scene? it let you tp back to new york.
Do you think the story books are fine in the building room or it would be better to put them in the spawn room?
Do you think the items search "1 item/chest" is fun? Or the chests should have more items?
Keep in mind, I'm not a huge fan of the 'survival' type and I haven't played that many (compared to the other types). So take my rating with a grain of salt. My gut says that I liked your map a little more than my rating alone reflects.
Oh - I didn't see the S.O.S. I saw the road sign and the seemingly endless stretch of road, which gave the impression of a long walk ahead.
The story books at the beginning are fine. My only comment would be that the spawn area is 'out of character' and once you warp, you should only find text that is 'in character'. But it's not a big deal - I wouldn't take points off for that.
Regarding 1 item per chest... I never came close to dying, so it wasn't an issue. But if someone was playing on 'normal' or 'hard' and lost their items or ran out of gear/food it might be difficult. Sometimes I see map makers give too many items, particularly when you're already allowed to break down buildings or dig for ores. In your case, it's definitely scarce. But... I would try to get more feedback or some LPs before you make any significant changes. I also took a very avoidance approach, focused on finding the vehicle instead of exploration or your secondary challenges.

Ok thanks. By the way, what type of map do you think is better or more popular? survival, ctm, adventure, parkour, puzzle?
This looks cool! On a different note, do you want to enter into a community custom map? Message me if you do, I won't spam you with all the details if you don't want to.
I don't know, tell me more about the community please.
By the way, what type of map do you think is better or more popular? survival, ctm, adventure, parkour, puzzle?
This is my opinion:
It's a bit hard to say, but I think adventure are still more prevalent and appeal to the widest range of players.
Mini-boss fights are pretty popular.
CTM and Parkour are too hard for the majority of players, but have strong vocal followings.
A lot of people play vanilla survival, but there are a few specialty survival maps that are popular (like skyblock).
Puzzle maps used to be popular, but at this point, most of them feel too similar - flipping triggers in boxy rectangular rooms

Ok thanks, I think That for my next map I will make an adventure themed map with a lot of Redstone things and command blocks. A story with a path to follow and an end. Do you think it's a good idea?
this, i totally aprove this! definitively checked out. its so awesome, good job!
Thanks! if you play the map please tell me what you like or don't like about it. I really need your feedback to make the maps better. OH, and what type of map should I do next? Please tell me your ideas, I like to make maps I enjoy making and you enjoy playing.
Hey, thanks for letting me know that you released a new map! I played it with some friends and absolutely loved it, it was a really well put-together map, the atmosphere was great. If you're interested in our playthrough you can check out the first Episode here:
