Well I've found the source of the lag everyone's complaining about. It's a combination of the lava and all those iron bars and nether brick fences you practically built the entire map surface out of. Those are the 3 laggiest blocks in the entire game.

I can get rid of the lava with this bucket, but it'd take me years to manually destroy all those iron bar trees in creative mode.

If you don't do something about this, I and clearly many other players cannot play your map. Please do something about it. >.< You could remove all the lag trees and half the surface lava and that'd probably fix it.

I've actually gotten pretty far, I'm missing:

*Jarig's book 2+3 (first being the diary?)
*The other two special trader plaques besides "fantistuff's" and "Jeff's"
*animal story #4 (got mouse, bunny, and hairy dog, btw these are awesome)
*dragon egg

Well technically I found cyr_bera's special trader plaque, but I cheated. If that dispenser was supposed to put something on that pressure plate, it was facing the wrong way, so I just assumed it was unsolvable.

I've combed the orb realm all the way from the pointy bedrock ceiling to the bottom level and everything in between, I do not see another Jarig book. o_O. Current two: diary from the ending and his to-do list.

His second book is in the following location: Near the cow spawners in the sandy area, there is a hole. Go in the hole and there is another hole to go deeper, go down it and Jarig should be standing there with his second book.

In the orb realm

Still can't find the dragon egg, I thought it would be in the End.

There is one in 'the end' o.0 there is also another one in the orb realm inside the pokeball (outside the main water area)

found the other special trader though, awfully well hidden. so now I technically have all 4, even though I never found out how to legitimately open cyr_bera's. Tearing into the redstone my best guess is putting a lever (can't place blocks? Didn't see any levers in there?) on a random block of mossy cobblestone in there. The button gave me xp, the pressure plate did nothing, ???

There were (item frames with arrows on them and the block with the pressure plate is a hint), if you shoot the mossy cobble (the ones that have the pressure plates on them) with arrows they will activate the pressure plates on top which will open the piston doors there. It's probably the most obscure puzzle in the map

Anyway, the moment of truth:

In hindsight looking at the emeralds I wound up with I was NOT supposed to bridge over to those giant green eyes. :/


And the victory signoff. I only do this for maps I both love and get terribly frustrated on.

And with that I'm done with the map. The main story was fantastic, but God help anyone who aims for 100% completion. Still worth at least trying, there's tons of fun easter eggs to bump into.

I played it and every 5 seconds it crashed. I tried to upload the crash.txt but it was too long. is said there were too many item frames and mobs basicly. I can't even get past the first bedrock room cos' severy time I try to brew a potion of fire resistance it crashes. I'm using the 13w02b snapshot.

Looking at the other comments, i had NO LAG whatsoever, I'm on a laptop, I DID host this map as a full bukkit server ON my laptop with 2 additional plugins and as you may see in the below video link.
I'm connecting 4 people from external locations to my router not to mention there are 3 OTHER running computer's in my house also connected to my router, WHILE I'm running a 4 person clear skype call. Even if it's a Asus gaming laptop..thats a lot and I'm sure a desktop computer would beat mine any day.
Should check the programs your systems are running at the time, cutting down uneccessary processes

The only thing i'm worried about, is will we as a group of currently 6 be able to do the map without spawning more than what's given?

most comments i'm reading and seeing are 1-3 people attempting the map. i have a party of 6... and we're quite chaotic i must say O_o We've already died multiple times and lost everything so.. we're just swimming in lava at this point LOL if you know what i mean

Btw, if you want to see my first video.. and maybe tell me if maybe i'm just doing it wrong, i know we're all supposed to be opped.. but really if we ALL were, there wouldn't be a map T_T

Epic, but JUST ONE PROBLEM. It's a bit of common sense, but people who don't have it will go around putting cobblestone or something on the redstone thing instead of the 'strands of dreams' and 'blue dust of memories' or whatever that stuff was... and then they'll dye in the final boss.
