While I was trying to copy and paste my Monument (of Glorious Ascension) area, I ended up pasting it in two parts (because I accidentally didn't select the area well) really badly, and it looks kind of funny.
Should I redo the area, or should I just edit it to not look as crappy as it is?
Weird floating vines, halved bookshelf pillars..
What should I do?
Can you not undo? If you can, that should save you.
In MCEdit, the delete button r*pes and pillages, the undo button saves lives.
Also, I have no idea how, but I realized that leather armor is useful, I am becoming a bit more than a noob at Super Hostile
Reinforced Redstone Lamp, maybe? 4 obsidian around a redstone lamp. Looks the same as a redstone lamp except instead of the brownish trim it has a blackish trim and needs to be mined with an iron pick.
IMO that would make them far too tedious to craft. Have to get glowstone and redstone, craft Redstone lamps, then plonk the lamps back into the crafting table again with the obsidian.

They're an explosion resistant light source. Currently every light source... EVERY light source... can be easily destroyed. I think it's a small price to pay.

Jack O Lantern (Blast resistance 5) says hello.
Blast resistance 5 is over three times as good as glowstone's crappy 1.5, and the blast resistance 0 of a torch.
I honestly don't think people understand the true power of pumpkins. Rather disappointing.
Yeah, but invoke a reinforced redstone lamp and blast resistance 3000 says hello (Same as an enchanting table.)
I iz trollin'. The difference between 1.5 and 5 is pretty pathetic.
As your concept stands, it would be too difficult a recipe for plentiful use, and quite a difficult recipe for CTM. Particularly a map like Waking Up, where you don't get diamonds until the VERY END.
Perhaps one glowstone block surrounded by 4 iron bars? That would be 1.5 iron + 1 glowstone per block, and would have the blast resistance of iron bars. Still destructible by creeper/TNT, but not by ghast or anything less than a near direct explosion. That would have far more potential use. Particularly in vanilla.

Explosion-resistant light sources:
Beacons and End Portal Blocks give off a light level of 15.
Nether Portals give off a light level of 11, but it's pretty useless.
Ender chests give off a dim light of 7, same as a redstone torch.
End Portal Frames give off a light level of 1.
With a cobble generator, the bedrock stalactites area was surprisingly easy.
Got tons of cobblestone, turned all of them into slabs, then used pistons to make a bridge to the wool with safety rails.
Then I sprint-jumped down to the Fleecy Box, got the wool, then pillared back up.
Vechs, fix your maps! Mobs no longer spawn on Bedrock!
Yes, in the Legion Halls Lewt Box. It's the same level though.

There ain't much left of the world these days. The gods have forsaken us, there's no denying that. But still you press on. For what? A chance to sift through the ashes one last time? The hope to one day be called a hero? Whatever your reason, you've got a lot of work to do. The corruption won't leave without a fight, so you better get started.
Got the blue and cyan wool (still haven't beaten Tacos yet). But that means I still need two more wools plus the gold and diamond blocks. Is there another intersection somewhere? Because the only area I haven't completed yet is Tacos.
Using potions is not cheating.
I think invisibility is a bit cheap, it's basically a free pass to complete an area.
Maybe Winnerbone could change it that if you place/destroy blocks while invisible, mobs will investigate the spot where the last action found place.
Generally that wouldn't help because if you're doing that then you're on the run against the duration of the potion, so you won't be going slow enough for that to help.

Which wools do you need? (There isn't another Intersection, but I think I know which 2 wools you're missing. As for the blocks, try looking down in the Nether)

That's a good question, try it and post back.
Just tried it in 1.4.2, and it doesn't work, unfortunately.Frick, ninja'd.

Like an idiot, I saved it before I realized that I cut it wrong -.-
Edit: Looking at it, I realize that I could do a way better job to the cavern.
Bigger, better, floating fire...
Lots to do! :3

WHAT?!
Danger zone.
Me playing Super Hostile - Waking Up in my series called HOSTILE HUMILIATION (Which doesn't actually require me being humiliated (Much xD))
Playlist of all of Season 3

Not vanilla though. Sadly...
Can someone tweet Dinnerbone Foreverabone about it? (my internet is about to run out, no time)
- Magenta Wool get.

Sorry, three more wools-- purple, red, and black.
