I don't know if you guys realize or not, but all of these mod authors do this work mostly for free so people like you can enjoy them. It takes many weeks or months or years of very hard coding and drawing (texturing), and they get a lot of guff when they should be getting applause and praise for just giving us these things. I know a lot of mods are broken or parts of them don't work, but when these authors get a lot of crap when they're in the process of making them better, it unmotivates them and makes them feel bad they even tried to make a cool mod in the first place. I am ashamed at a lot of people out here who don't know or appreciate what people they don't even know are doing for them. No matter how bad a mod is, it took a lot of hard work.
So what will it take for people to start a wiki? I would love to find out how to use the scanner, replicator, and mass fabricator!! I have searched and found no help yet. I have a mass fabricator up and running and it's full of liquid UU matter which I have no clue how to work with.
I'm playing in survival and I'm trying to resist just OP-ing myself on the in house server to play with it, having fun trying things out the hard way so far! If any one hears of a wiki PLEASE post it!!!

Just need the old wiki updated. Not EVERYTHING has changed. But it would be really really nice.

Why are you so negative ? This is really amazing piece of mod for minecraft! They actually update it daily, if you find some bugs, you go on mantis bugtracker, report, and they fix it in the next few releases. These experimental builds is just WIP (work in progress), they aren't finished yet so expect some glitches - as they've already said on their Jenkins page. I am into that mod a lot, I am watching official forums etc, etc. They intend to make it even more compatible with other mods, like BC for example, liquid UU is just one step towards it. I have functioning BC 4.0.2 side by side with IC2 2.0.176 and so far - so good. Still few recipes missing, but they are working on it. I am extra happy that Sphax (PureBD texture pack) is providing support for them - it lacks a couple of new machines, but I hope he will update soon...
And yes - donationware IS free. No one asks money from you, hell there isn't a single banner or ad in their mod. If someone feels like supporting their work, he is welcome to do so. I think they are good enough - especially now, when that guy Gregorius is on the dev team. They won't let it out unfinished or buged. Let's see it what happens in the end, then criticise them (if there is any in this game, FFS everything is eternal-beta version - even the game itself)
Hey i jsut wanna say i love ic2 been playing it since 1.4.7 came out.. i host a server for my friends(whitelist) and after all work i put into getting the server with ssh and all that good stuff.. my friends really wanted me to update to 1.6.2 for horses and being able to drag stuff.. well i spent 6 hours getting everything to work(i also have advanced machines) and now i just discoverd that my nano saber wether on or off only does 2+ meaning i do two hearts... thats not very good.... id rather use iron... whats up with this bug?? pelase reply so i know then it gets fixed...i guess for now we will have to kill cows very slowly
They fixed that glitch in the experimental builds (IC2 v2.0.xxx, you probably have IC2 v1.xxx) My nanosaber does "one-shot-kill" for the unarmored mobs. but a lot of stuff is still WIP. You should wait for them to finish V2 or to ignore that bug and not use nanosabers... Or try many other builds 'till you figure out which is right for you. Try link at the top of page 1, that OP gave us... You will enter the whole directory of builds, so you can find one which works best for you...
Does anyone know what happened with EU-Reader in this version? Right clicking on wire does nothing, no messages. Is it bug or its somehow different now?
there is no packet anymore in the new ic2 experimental. so you wont read anything anymore. their is no way now to have tons of solar panel connected to the same MFSU or any other size of batpacks. it works with the max input value.
Hey all, I'm having some trouble with the Uranium. I only get the blocks when I mine it, and nothing else. I can get crushed Uranium with the macerator but I don't know how to make anything else from it. What am I missing? Thanks
Also, someone mentioned the "official forums" for IC2 experimental. Is there a link?

Where is this found? Is the max input value on the GUI somewhere when you click the Batbox/MFE/MFSU?

Have the same trouble, how to get Uranium rods now?
Just so you know, There is a channel on youtube that shows a server play with most ic2 devs (and other modders and mods) where he explains a lot of stuff from the new ic2. channel: http://www.youtube.com/direwolf20
Thats the first video. Warning: not all mods (or features) are available (sorry if i am wrong) yet, because this is a beta testing server for mods.
Has anyone else had this problem with IC2 experimental? I can't craft even the most basic recipes. Like copper wire for instance. I put in 3 copper ingots in a row and it doesn't craft anything. At least I think copper wire is still a basic recipe for IC2. When I go back to IC2 1.118.401 it works fine. At this point I've stripped everything out, and IC2 is the only mod I'm using, just to make sure.
Honestly, I wouldn't have a problem sticking with the older version, but I'd like to run the latest railcraft as well, and the two don't play together at all.

Exactly right. That's how you do it!
