I'm having trouble with the launcher. I don't know how to do the .zip file, and the .exe won't load. I know it's Alpha, but it worked for a few times, but didn't for a while after. I don't get it. Can anyone help?

I've had an Aether portal frame built for weeks waiting for just this moment. After clearing up a conflict with Mystcraft, I was good to go....or so I thought.
Portal ignited normally and I stepped into it and waited......and waited.....and waited some more. Finally I got fed up and moved the portal itself thinking that its proximity to a Twilight Forest portal had something to do with it. Don't know if that was the cause but the moving of the portal worked!
As soon as I stepped through the portal I got flung up into the air and then shot off of the side of the island I was on. STUPID ZEPHYRS!!!! Anyway to either get rid of them or at least thin down their numbers a bit? It's a bit of a bummer to have to take refuge underground in such a beautiful enviroment!

HOSTILE paradise, Don't expect any easy moments in the beautiful world. The aether was made to be a challenge so powerful, diamond gear was even useless to you. The zephyrs are the FIRST of these challenges! wait til ya discover Tempests!
So what if I already have Player API and Renderer API installed due to other mods requiring it, do I still need to install the CORE too or delete those two? And if I do need to delete those two and replace it with the CORE, will the other mods that require the 2 still work?

I love this mod and plan on using it on my server....I have some slight problems though...
First of all, when i start the Java version of the launcher all text is sort of censored out in white
So i tried just installing it on the regular launcher...and when i reach the menu screen, Music doesnt play in the background and i cant change the type of music
Then in the actual game, The slots where you place stuff like capes and gloves and rings, First off the icons for the slots arent there. Second,You cant place any of the items in those slots. Upon adding the mods from Aether into my mods folder with Liteloader enabled, the game crashes when I start single player with this: https://dl.dropboxus...er-client-1.log
LiteLoader relies on the Profiler stack to function and sometimes mods corrupt the stack (basically for profiling purposes parts of the minecraft code (and mod code) are surrounded by paired calls to beginSection and endSection, however if a mod accidentally calls endSection without a corresponding beginSecion, then the stack gets unbalanced and causes this to happen). Liteloader sees this stack corruption and notifies you with the error above.
What you need to do is track down the offending mod (usually by a process of binary searching disabling sets of mods until the problem goes away) and then notify the author of that mod so that they can fix it. If you have lots of mods this can seem hard to do, but a binary search basically involves disabling half of your mods at a time - then if the problem goes away you've narrowed it down that half, and if it doesn't then you've narrowed it down to the remaining half. Repeat the process until you have only 1 mod left and there's your culprit.
Also it would be nice to get a config option for the Biomes ID's.
Because I love the Aether II soooo much !!! Me and a buddy bought 1 month hosting, we are more focused on making a decently nice spawning area, and making it easy for players to play and have fun. we are running an mcpc+ server, and its running great, we haven't noticed any lag yet.
We have some basic plugins like Essentials, factions,kits,lockette,mcmmo,spawner,worldedit,worldGuard.
we made the Glass and the cloud floor a no mob / pvp area.
That way when you spawn, you won't be getting killed instantly.
We have also provided 2 cow , and 2 pig spawners for players to get food/leather before they head out on there journey to do dungeons.
Server version 1.6.2.2
We will try to stay up to date with the Aether II's latest version.
While keeping the world/spawn the same.

Broke the portal when I was making something. I added an addition to the normal world spawn, and re-made the Aether spawn. I have allowed everyone access to the /fly command until the server gets more populated. No lag, have fun.
When i download the launcher nothing happens when a open them both and it wont let me download the player.api or the aether mod just the forge what should i do

Try the Jar, works for me
Portal ignited normally and I stepped into it and waited......and waited.....and waited some more. Finally I got fed up and moved the portal itself thinking that its proximity to a Twilight Forest portal had something to do with it. Don't know if that was the cause but the moving of the portal worked!
As soon as I stepped through the portal I got flung up into the air and then shot off of the side of the island I was on. STUPID ZEPHYRS!!!! Anyway to either get rid of them or at least thin down their numbers a bit? It's a bit of a bummer to have to take refuge underground in such a beautiful enviroment!

I don't mean to sound like a whiny , But, could you but a Direct link to the EXE and JAR to, say, mediafire? I've been with the Aether since ALPHA, and it's a pain not being able to get the new 1.6.2 version :/ HOSTILE paradise, Don't expect any easy moments in the beautiful world. The aether was made to be a challenge so powerful, diamond gear was even useless to you. The zephyrs are the FIRST of these challenges! wait til ya discover Tempests!

It makes a file seperate from your .minecraft as far as i know
First of all, when i start the Java version of the launcher all text is sort of censored out in white
So i tried just installing it on the regular launcher...and when i reach the menu screen, Music doesnt play in the background and i cant change the type of music
Then in the actual game, The slots where you place stuff like capes and gloves and rings, First off the icons for the slots arent there. Second,You cant place any of the items in those slots. And third, The slots are in a seperate area then where they normally would be.

Because I love the Aether II soooo much !!! Me and a buddy bought 1 month hosting, we are more focused on making a decently nice spawning area, and making it easy for players to play and have fun. we are running an mcpc+ server, and its running great, we haven't noticed any lag yet.
We have some basic plugins like Essentials, factions,kits,lockette,mcmmo,spawner,worldedit,worldGuard.
we made the Glass and the cloud floor a no mob / pvp area.
That way when you spawn, you won't be getting killed instantly.
We have also provided 2 cow , and 2 pig spawners for players to get food/leather before they head out on there journey to do dungeons.

Broke the portal when I was making something. I added an addition to the normal world spawn, and re-made the Aether spawn. I have allowed everyone access to the /fly command until the server gets more populated. No lag, have fun.
