That's no bug-ALL metal parts now have to be cast in the Smeltery. To create casts in the Smeltery, pour Liquid Gold/Aluminium Brass over a tool part e.g. If you pour Liquid Gold over a Wooden Tool Binding, you get a tool binding cast. Easy!
Hey... I don't know if anyone noticed, but my pickaxe won't drain EU.. I gave it the EU modif and it seems it has ultimate uses right now... Currently using DW20 BETA mod pack...

Have you charged it in a BatBox, MFE or MFSU?
mDiyo, are you going to fix the knapsack bug?

hmm, there seems to be an incompatibility with atmoicstrykers multi-mine mod, if you have it installed advanced tools like the Hammer or the lumber axe only harvests the block you are currently mining, not the 3x3x1 that they should. Might be something to look into if you have the time mDiyo.
P.S. i am running the newest mods for the 1.5.2 version.

As far as I know, the tools that break more than one block don't actually 'mine' said blocks. Those blocks are just broken when the block you are mining is. So this isn't really a bug as far as I can tell, just the way things work.
I have a bug report. As soon as i get into my world I notice that my game was starting to bog down considerably to the point of a complete halt. I was able to see the log in multimc with this error happening over and over again.

Do you think it has anything to do with TContruct.

Your save is probably corrupted (I've had the same error). Restore your save from backup or delete the chunk corresponding to the location in the log (use mcedit in chunk editing mode). And remove all entities (mobs) in that chunk.
Today I will be streaming a modded skyblock server. Same time as yesterday, assuming my pasta eats itself into oblivion fast enough. :3
Rockpet: Arrows are based on the strength of vanilla tools. I may need to tweak them a bit.
DarkSirrush: I can't please everyone... I'm trying to find a time that works both for me and for others.
DjessNL: The tabs are Natura, Tools, Crafting Materials, and Blocks.
Superstoffolous: Beheading modifier stacks with the cleaver, yes.
likegamess: More tanks means more fuel, not more speed.
Byteby8: That doesn't look like anything from any mod. It's likely a corrupted chunk, and I'm not sure what misplaced slimes have to do with anything...
is there a way to dismantle tools ? if not, any plans to make somewhat table to recover one of the parts of one tool? what use do the extra new slot on the forge table have? (aside from more tools, the forge have this extra slot compared to the tool station).
super amazing mode, make me remember my afternoons playing vagrant story, combining and smelting my weapons and armors.
So, are the arrows supposed to be much better then a sword? I know they are supposed to be able to melee weapons. ...
You should be able to do that with any Tinker tool. Arrows should not be an exception. Quartz is very powerful. Mind you, I don't intend to go use my arrows as melee weapons so I haven't even tested damage.
Oh, by the way, if you plan on keeping the smeltery GUI, can you make it so it shows all the liquids in a big infobox whenever you hover over the internal tank instead of showing only they liquid that you're actually hovering? Sometimes there's too little liquid for me to identify it.
Are you using the latest version? The gui was changed so that even if you had one or two ingots worth of liquid in the tank, it would show up.
Does the Beheading modifier (ender pearl + obsidian) stack with the natural beheading ability of the cleaver? So that I could get a "Beheading III" weapon?
Or doesn't it have any additional effect on that particular weapon?
Others were reporting the beheading mod + cleaver did not seem to be working as intended. I don't know if Diyo has addressed this yet.

There is not and will not be a way to dismantle tools. Diyo has mentioned that he thinks it will be worse for the mod if you could take apart tools. They are permanent as is, since they do not permanently break. Old tools, as I have heard in the past fro Diyo, should be treated as a testament to your progress. Not torn apart to be remade into something else.
Have you received my 16x16 textures yet? You haven't responded, so I figured either for some weird reason it wasn't sent, or you haven't got to it yet.

I have asked about this before and mDiyo said that is is not and will not be a way to dismantle tools.
As for the "extra" slots in the Tool Forge, it is used for making the tools that need 4 pieces.
Fair warning: All liquids are going to break between 1.5 and 1.6. They are all going to poof. Make sure your molten metals are stored in item form.
Since fluids are going to be broken anyway, I've been experimenting with finite liquids. You can have shallow moats of liquid metals like so:
Airking5: Turtles are not capable of automating oreberry harvesting. The only things that I'm aware of that can do such are thaumcraft golems and minefactory harvesters.

I can't wait until Natura & Tinkers' Construct update. I love the mods, but I also love my horses & my MCPatcher. Also, there is something in the creative menu that looks very vaguely like a piece of Nether Quartz, but it's smaller, brown, & unnamed.
Is the battleaxe's ability supposed to be an improved longsword lunge? the jump doesn't work like the longsword's so im not sure. (i noticed it's TBD but im curious, as the longsword is my favorite weapon)
What's the difference between the fletchings?
Also a small bug report: The shortbow's drawing gets interrupted if the bow repairs itself with the repair modification. just like it used to with the tools before. maybe make it so that drawing the bow cancels any regen?
Thanks again for the awesome mod. it makes the early game incredibly fun (and the rest of it too, but mostly the early game)
Totally my new favorite mod. Completely ignoring my industry mods in favor of SMELTERY FOR EVERYTHING.
Any chance of getting material info in the red guidebook about bow and arrow materials? Trial-and-error is fun and all, but since the guidebook is already a thing...
Edit: Also, more of a long-term question... any intention of doing anything with armor someday?

It will be in the guidebook eventually, but bows still seem to be in a bit of development. Armor is also planned, and will likely be in the books as well. Will be interesting to see if and what modifiers, etc.
