Is there anyway you could implement the fix for the bump-map texture flipping bug? because it doesnt look like anyone plans on fixing older versions. i posted a fix a few days ago. alot of people trying to use my texture pack are having problems fixing it themselfs.

There is.
But it will be a separate mod or tool, not in ShadersMod.
I think it can be fixed by just copying 1 class from 1.7.5 and reobfuscate it for 1.7.2.
But the 1.7.5 class cannot be used with optifine.
So a better fix would be reobfuscating class from optifine 1.7.4 for optifine 1.7.2.
But I don't have 1.7.4 mapping. It will take several days to make.
I think it would be easy for sp614x to do it.

ok thanks for the info, i was reffering to just swapping around the bump mapping in the shader pack tho. so the bump mapping is swapped like the textures are. this way if sp614x cant or wont fix it, it can still look proper. i posted the fix already and i show people how to fix it themselfs but it seems some people are still having problems. if you could release a build made specifically for 1.7.2 of your bump-shadow-waving with this fix it would help me out alot.

No. Shaderpacks are not supposed to be version specific.
Texture flip is bug in Minecraft. And it is already fixed in 1.7.4-1.7.5.
We just have to either use newer Minecraft version or backport the new java code for 1.7.2.
I ***LOVE*** this mod! I had wanted to use it with Sonic Ether's shader packs, but he seems to hate us Linux (and Mac) users, so instead, I'm using Rudo Play's packs and with the Chroma Hills resourcepack, everything is amazingly gorgeous! Check these out!
anyone knows a good water shader? with water reflection, small water waves and good looking water?
Try using Rudo Plays shaders, Paolo's Lagless shaders, or if you're on Windows 7+ Sonic Ether's shaders, and when either are combined with the Chroma Hills resource pack, I think that should give you the effect you're looking for.
Hi! I'm Stephane! I was wondering if I could use shaders in a modpack? First of all if its possible, and second of all if its ok. This pack is probably not going to be too popular, but it will be needed to access and play on my server. Thanks in advance!

thanks but i'm already using both of them (along with mister meep shader they are the only shaders i'm using). also using chroma hills. they have a good sun reflection but i didn't saw block reflection. and my computers is crashing when i'm even looking at sonic's shader.

the textures are "supposed" to be in the correct direction. necessity is the mother of creation, it would NOT be that much trouble for you to have a version that works 1.7.2, its real easy, do the fix i showed you, then upload it and put it under the other bump-shadow-waving shaderpack in a spoiler. so people can have a working version. its really not asking that much at all.
sp614x's reply to me asking to fix the texture flipping-
Porting the bugfix for texture flipping from 1.7.4 to 1.7.2 with OptiFine is not trivial.
OptiFine 1.7.2 uses a custom version of the connected textures because of this bug. Fixing the bug in 1.7.2 will break the connected textures. Porting the connected textures from 1.7.4 to 1.7.2 is also not easy because in 1.7.4 they were extended and will most probably not work on 1.7.2 without some modifications.

Paolo's Lagless shaders will do water reflections with Minecraft's Vanilla textures:
Ok so this might sound stupid but... I accidentally deleted my graphics driver... but then I re-downloaded them and shaders started working again. I just don't know what happened like it wasn't working and constantly crashing but after i re-downloaded them it started working maybe the driver update messed up or somethingthanks for you help I appreciate it.

ya i thought this sounded a bit ridiculous to.

Also, could anyone tell me the ideal set up to run shaders along with other mods.
My AMD Radeon 7970 struggles to reach 60 FPS on many shaderpacks with the Blocks 3D mod along with Optifine combined.
thanks you so much! i'm using chroma hills so i didn't saw!
