It depends. It should work with newer forge updates, but if not stay with the recommended version. It should work with camera studio mod as long as shaders isn't in the incompatibilities list.
Has anyone noticed that when you are near lava, torches, your arm just disappears? I have a Nvidia geforce gt 640 ddr3 IGig memory with driver update 320.49
Whenever I switch my gtx 650 ti (driver 326.80) color format to YCbCr444 on a 1920x1080 asus monitor, frames within the shaders mod drop heavily. Minimizing doesn't do anything to edit the frames either. This occurs when I switch my formats, and then start up a new minecraft client. I am trying to switch from RGB to YCbCr444 because YCbCr444 looks substantially better within colors (not so washed out). Would anybody know what would cause this, and if there is a fix? My GPU becomes cooler when I switch to YCbCr444 (on RGB it's regularly at around 60degreesC, with YCBCr444 it's around 40-50C), and my frames decrease to around 15fps. The wierd thing is that the frames stay at 15fps whether I'm minimized or maximized; on RGB color format my frames were around 40+ at the resolution of 1920x1080, and with minecraft's default resolution (840x640 or something) the frames would increase to 90+. If anybody could help me with this problem I'd be very grateful.
Very tempted to get the 780 or the titan, but i would have to switch my CPU, otherwise i think it would bottleneck, I'm actually willing to spend 1500 on a machine seeing as next gen games are quite demanding
the 6770+i3 combo has served me well, still manages to play most games on higher settings but it is time for an upgrade and even if I do go for the 770+i5 combo it should still be able to run anything fine, 780/titan/7950+i7/bulldozer just feels overkill for the price
770+i5 should be able to run shaders with ease if my current specs can run med shaders at 80 and ultra on 35
Yeah, the 780/TITAN is overkill in my opinion, the TITAN alone is a grand :S!
The fact that you would need the leading cards to play a game at the best quality/1080p is absolutely ridiculous. All companies are doing is putting out 90% of the population that are running what is still considered to be very good hardware.
The 670/680/770 is still around 400-500 dollars (performance within approx 5-10% of each other roughly), compared to the performance VS price of a 780/TITAN at twice the cost or more (you're talking another 5-10% performance boost), like if the 'older' cards can't play games at max quality at 1080p something is wrong, haha!
I'm still doing just fine with my AMD 6950, lolz, and I got it on sale for around 200-250 if I recall (been a couple years now).
Anyways, I totally agree, the upgrade is expensive but it should carry you for another 2-3 years. I wouldn't get up any higher than the i5+770 because the cost difference just isn't worth it. Especially if you are going to have to cut your CPU, if you do any kind of encoding/decoding, video/audio/picture rendering or editing it will cost more than a few FPS .
Good luck with your upgrades! Sounds like a heck of a machine!

I think it maybe lava.. I posted a video a few pages back showing the issue and originally thought it was in the nether only because it happened all the time in there but of course the nether is full of lava.. and it started happening in the overworld which confused me
But then it completely threw me off when it started happening whilst i was looking up :l
Which shaderpack are you using, do you see this symptom with all shader packs?
I'm not seeing it, I've used Sildur's basic / SEUS K25 / SEUS v10.0..
Maybe it's because I generally play on an AMD, I don't get the same framerate as you, but maybe it's the restrictions on available OpenGL instructions? More strict maybe? On my nVidia card, I generally use Sildur's shaders to keep frames up soo..

GLSL Shaders Mod (updated by karyonix) v2.0.1 beta 16 for Minecraft 1.6.2-1.6.3
It is, functionally, the same as beta 15 but this can also be loaded on Minecraft 1.6.3 with FML 6.3.2.749 or Forge 9.11.0.873. Download download link
Alternative link in spoiler.
EDIT:
Bug: Crash while changing resource pack on AMD HD 7950 Catalyst 13.10beta.
No crash while changing resource pack on NVIDIA GTX 460 Geforce 314.22.
The one thing I absolutely can't stand about Modded Minecraft is finding out that one of your favorite mods have moved on to the next version of Minecraft while your still waiting for the rest of the mods you play with to catch up to the previous version. I think 1.4.5 was the last version I have played all my mods together.
Nothing against Karyonix, I admire the hard work he puts in his mod. I just wish other modders were as active as him.
Thanks for this mod, Minecraft looks amazing because of it.

Will this version work with 1.6.2?

It should work if you don't change texture while running it.
It is, in fact, 1.6.2 mod.
The only difference between beta 16 and beta 15 is minecraft version number "1.6.2" is removed from annotation, so 1.6.3 FML will not think that it is mod of wrong version.

Hi,
I am running a server and is using shader pack to take good pictures. However, today i ran into a problem of having this lighting and shading glitch.
Here is the sample
As you can see the top picture is taken during day time noon. The sun however is orange dawn color. The second one is taken at night time. The sun was already down but it still has some kind of light towards it ,
I was wondering if this has anything to do with the Shader Mod itself or is it just my server. If is the mod how can i fix it. If it is to do with the server how can i respond and fix this glitch?
I've tested on several other server and iti s ok. I reinstalled the latest version you published today and it is still the same. I am using Bukkit and other plugin for server rank management. There is no mod installed on the server.

Yes, I mean 1.6.3 snapshot which is minor update.
No, it does not work on 1.7 development snapshots. There is no MCP and FML for those version.
