It works fine without this mod, and with this mod only it still crashes.
Your Forge version is too low.
This problem is because this mod is still in transitional stage.
I am converting modified code to run-time patching.
When that process is complete, this mod will be more compatible with other mods, different forge versions, and probably without forge.
I work on one, but had some harddrive issues, it should be up soon. You will find it in my thread atm there's an acid shader in it too http://www.minecraft...-now-with-acid/

Before install
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2. Then close it.
- Install minecraftforge with minecraftforge installer. (download page)
I test it on version 9.10.0.804 .
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher.
Select "Forge" in profile box at lower left corner of launcher window.
Play.
You should see "Mods" button in title screen below "Multiplayer" button.
Check whether everything is alright and close. Installation
- Put ShadersModCore-xxxx.jar in .minecraft/mods folder.
Make sure its file extension is ".jar", not ".zip". Run
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2 with profile Forge.
- Open Option menu, Shaders... button. Click open shaderpacks folder.
- Put shaderpack in the folder.
- In Shaders screen click shaderpack name.
Normal map and specular map name
- Insert _n or _s before .png at the end of texture name in resource pack.
It will end with "_n.png" or "_s.png" .
Example
- texture in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png
- normal map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_n.png
- specular map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_s.png
Plan for further development
- Make OptiFine-compatible edition.
- Convert the loading process to make class modification at load time instead of just loading modded class.

It would be nice if it had the ability to reduce or increase the multi since if you want to get a lower res you have to continue to increase which causes crashes.

Meanwhile, you may exit the world to main menu or resize to small window before changing resolution option.
If you want custom value, edit the number in optionsshaders.txt file.
Anyone else have the problem of shadows appearing and disappearing how you look around?
Everything else is working fine. I tried with other shader packs, seus, sildur and a few more and in everyone the same problem appears.
If someone had that problem and knows the solution please help.

It's a problem with shaders only rendering shadows loaded on your screen. I'm not quite sure why it has only started now, but shadows only appear for geometry rendered on-screen, and a new variable in minecraft makes things... disappear? when looking away from them.

i tried that but enabling or disabling shadowfrustrum didnt change anything. the problem is still there. i looks like what VashM16 said like the shadows appear only for geometry that is on the screen, hard to explain
If you're talking about the water reflections ("shadows") appearing/disappearing depending on the vertical position (looking up & down) that is an intentional design. It is much easier to render a shadow this way because it is just a quick reverse algorithm computation. That way, it doesn't require multiple passes, and greatly speeds up FPS.
If it does it on regular shadows with no water involved, than I have no idea.. Sorry!

This problem is because this mod is still in transitional stage.
I am converting modified code to run-time patching.
When that process is complete, this mod will be more compatible with other mods, different forge versions, and probably without forge.

Before install
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2. Then close it.
- Install minecraftforge with minecraftforge installer. (download page)
I test it on version 9.10.0.804 .
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher.
Select "Forge" in profile box at lower left corner of launcher window.
Play.
You should see "Mods" button in title screen below "Multiplayer" button.
Check whether everything is alright and close.
Installation
- Put ShadersModCore-xxxx.jar in .minecraft/mods folder.
Make sure its file extension is ".jar", not ".zip".
Run
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2 with profile Forge.
- Open Option menu, Shaders... button. Click open shaderpacks folder.
- Put shaderpack in the folder.
- In Shaders screen click shaderpack name.
Normal map and specular map name
- Insert _n or _s before .png at the end of texture name in resource pack.
It will end with "_n.png" or "_s.png" .
Example
- texture in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png
- normal map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_n.png
- specular map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_s.png

6150 supports OpenGL 2 and GLSL shaders require OpenGL 3.
GeForce 6150 is already too slow to run minecraft itself.
Use value below 1.0, shaders will render in lower resolution.
It would be nice if it had the ability to reduce or increase the multi since if you want to get a lower res you have to continue to increase which causes crashes.
I will add the ability in later version.
Meanwhile, you may exit the world to main menu or resize to small window before changing resolution option.
If you want custom value, edit the number in optionsshaders.txt file.
It's a problem with shaders only rendering shadows loaded on your screen. I'm not quite sure why it has only started now, but shadows only appear for geometry rendered on-screen, and a new variable in minecraft makes things... disappear? when looking away from them.

If you're talking about the water reflections ("shadows") appearing/disappearing depending on the vertical position (looking up & down) that is an intentional design. It is much easier to render a shadow this way because it is just a quick reverse algorithm computation. That way, it doesn't require multiple passes, and greatly speeds up FPS.
If it does it on regular shadows with no water involved, than I have no idea.. Sorry!

SuporeMaster has a pretty good handle on things, especially ranking in at 500+ posts. He has provided many-an-answer to people, including digging pretty deep into some of the code to help fix bugs.

The mod itself is fully AMD compatible, the shadow support completely depends on how the shaderpack itself is written.
I use a 6950 myself, and get 30-40 FPS on average with SEUS v10.0 / Chocapic's / Sildur's shaders. That is Ultra, I hate motion blur and DOF..
