yeap, different OS (8.1 on notebook) but i haven't that problem on my second desktop (except fps drop to 10... half-dead video card).
I really dunno what to do. My wife gonna eat me soon, cause she dont want to play without shaders now =_=
I have tried same forge and drivers versions. Clean install of fresh minecraft without any mods.
So, your desktops are both running Win7?
I'm still not picking up on why 2 machines are running fine, and the other isn't..
What if you backup your saves folder, dump the %appdata%\.minecraft folder, and then copy that folder back from your NB to your Desktop? If that doesn't work, it has to be something with the video card/drivers/directx/opengl/cuda/physx.

Normal map and specular map naming has changed from preview 3 to be more consistent with prior versions.
Before install
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2. Then close it.
- Install minecraftforge with minecraftforge installer. (download page)
I test it on version 9.10.0.804 .
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher.
Select "Forge" in profile box at lower left corner of launcher window.
Play.
You should see "Mods" button in title screen below "Multiplayer" button.
Check whether everything is alright and close. Installation
- Put ShadersModCore-xxxx.jar in .minecraft/mods folder.
Make sure its file extension is ".jar", not ".zip". Run
- Use Mojang's Minecraft Launcher to run Minecraft 1.6.2 with profile Forge.
- Open Option menu, Shaders... button. Click open shaderpacks folder.
- Put shaderpack in the folder.
- In Shaders screen click shaderpack name.
Normal map and specular map name
- Insert _n or _s before .png at the end of texture name in resource pack.
It will end with "_n.png" or "_s.png" .
Example
- texture in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone.png
- normal map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_n.png
- specular map in resource pack : assets\minecraft\textures\blocks\cobblestone_s.png
Plan for further development
- Make OptiFine-compatible edition. (moved to first in the list)
- Convert the loading process to make class modification at load time instead of just loading modded class.
- Improve compatibility with other mods.
You can report bugs and incompatibilities.
I cannot fix everything quickly. But I will do what I can.
Awesome work, Karyonix!
I'll try to do some testing/playing tonight and see what I can find.
GLSL shaders keep giving a run out of memory error to the console while I am in-game ad it freezes minecraft then unfreezes and just keeps repeating. How do I get rid of this error because I highly doubt I used 1gb of memory allocated to minecraft.
Spoiler:
Cheers.
If you are a high-res texture pack, you could absolutely suck up 1GB.
What video card are you running though?
I pressed F3 to check the memory used and I only use up to 15% of my memory max.
Yes, it can only happen to blocks (I believe), but I believe it works on both default blocks and mod blocks as well.. I don't think anyone has taken Buildcraft/IC2/Extrabiomes and added POM support though -- be interesting to see. No one has added waving leaves to Extrabiomes yet...
It does take up more GPU cycles, but it's totally worth it! All you can do is try, might knock off a couple FPS, no biggie..

When GLSL shaders updates for Optifine, probably NO shaders will be laggy for me.
Thanks for the help.

Chopocic13, found a glitch you might wanna know about in your WIP shaders. In servers, in Plain Biomes, for some reason it turns completely black, and I can't see anything.

beta 6
beta 7
this seems to be a common issue for beta 7
Now I may know how to fix world curvature.
EDIT: Yep, fixed world curvature in 1.6.2
I made the effect pretty strong, so it's easier to see.

That looks awesome, Sildur!
I'm going to give these guys a shot !
EDIT: Boo, I can't find any releases with world curvature, just the same 'ol nVidia 3.2 (AMD is gone), and the Basic shaders..
Yeah, can you put that in your next release?
I think it looks really nice

(I always wanted to use the acid shader, but It got discontinued, so I couldnt...

Sildur already has that functionality, in his nV/AMD shaders, you just have to enable it in some (gbuffers_terrain.fsh, remove the // on #define POM).
Just grab a Bump/POM texture pack, and away you go (notes on this in your post in the SEUS thread).
You can add POM to SEUS v10.0 as well (unofficial)...
It's Parallax Occlusion Mapping, an extension of Bump Mapping with more depth and reality.
If you look at the picture that Sildur posted, notice on the bricks, the depth of the mortar, and the 'pocks' that are in the bricks themselves.
POM is Parallax Occlusion Mapping.
I makes blocks have a look to them, that makes blocks look like they pop out.

So does it happen to certain blocks, like bricks in the picture? And does it cause much lag? It looks pretty epic.

About half the lag of the shaders....

Sildurs, nvidia /amd lag me a little, I only get like 26 fps
