Strange... ill add the option in the next update to disable shadowing, something on your side is breaking it.Also, the NEWEST version is one version above this, which i can tell in your picture you are not using (A special silent update to those who are listening).

Added a configuration option to disable critical hits.
Added an experimental hook to catch arrow criticals, may or may not work.
I don't quite understand how to use the custom skins. I placed the contents of a custom skin (SuperNothingMini) In the .minecraft/CustomDISkins folder, but MC still uses the default indicator skin. I'm not quite sure what I'm supposed to do to make use the custom skin. Can you please clarify for me? Thanks, I'm quite new to modding MC

Ok, if they don't show up there, it was because the custom skin loading aborted due to minecraft not having enough memory.
Every time i hit a entity with the newest version of DamageIndicators for 1.6.4. I get the following console spam:

yeah it was some debugging code left in by mistake, waiting for mcp to progress a bit further before updating, so I can knock out some of the more important bugs.

Oops, there is a bug i didnt notice until after new years, it checks 'weekyear' instead of 'weekinyear' I updated it but didnt push a new version, just redownload to fix the bug.

How would you almost get banned? It tells you if the server has disabled damage indicators or not. If the server does not condone the mod, they can read this thread on what to add to the motd to prevent it from working :/ No, i will not remove it completely, it is there so servers can disable this mod if they want.
no there are some servers that classify the numbers as a ip so the ones with automatic advertising bans will sometimes see it as a ip therefore almost banning me the servers i play on mostly encourage the mod because it helps in pvp

I wonder, Is it possible to add a different color number jumping off an enemy when they take Fire Damage? I know you are probably busy considering that you are waiting for a more stable version of MCP to come out so you don't have to take this suggestion. I just think it would be cool to have that.

press period and make sure you have the portrait enabled. If it still doesnt show, click the box alternate render method on the bottom

Oh and besides that, the installer doesn't work for me. When I click on it nothing appears.
