once I've downloaded the mod and try to open minecraft, it frezes right at the last second of the loading screen. Is this normal? I realllly want to play the mod and this will be my first one please help:(
Does this mean the Dravite-Augite dimensions are no longer Skylands? Because that was their weakest features.
No, none of the dimensions are changing in core-generation, however they all are receiving generation upgrades. I can safely say, the upgrades will make them look much better.
To help make sure this release is as bug free and safe to play as possible, I've composed a bug list and rated each item into tiers of severity.
Severe
A crash occurs in SMP if a Mandragora spawns anywhere in the world, regardless of location with a "Ticking Entity" error. Once spawned, only editing the world with NBTEdit can save the world they spawned in (Impossible for that world to load.).
A crash occurs in SMP if a Biphron spawns anywhere in the world, regardless of location with a "Ticking Entity" error. Once spawned, only editing the world with NBTEdit can save the world they spawned in (Impossible for that world to load.).
A crash occurs when any of the wraithdisks are thrown with a "Ticking Entity" error.
Slaying Raglok Gog'dure will cause the game to crash over and over (unsalvagable error) with a "Ticking Entity" Error.
There are no safety measures in place when spawning in any of the dimensions, often having players appear in areas with no islands anywhere nearby, or be slain by flying enemies before they even spawn.
Moderate
Various DivineRPG monsters will spawn and meld into the ground, becoming difficult or impossible to hit and/or attack.
Rainbours are stuck on the ground and cannot move and when angered simply teleport all over the place or jump erratically as if trying to clip through walls.
Sharks can glide on the ground and follow the player across land at great speeds.
Tar cannot be legitimately acquired, and does not flow or fall when removed. When picked up, it becomes lava instead.
The corrupted cannon incorrectly deals 14 damage and not 14 x 4 damage due to the way mobs are immune to damage during their "Flinched" state.
Dravite-Augite Dirt does not count as dirt for Shovel purposes, making it impossible to "Dig".
Minor
The bedrock Shovel is incorrectly labeled as "Arlemite Shovel"
Bedrock tools and weapons have "-1" durability rather than infinite.
A full set of Bedrock armor incorrectly grants the user complete immunity to fall damage in addition to it's other immunities.
Various items are positioned incorrectly in the xolova1-5.png files which cause artifacts or clipping on their items.
Projectiles from weapons such as the Bowhead anchor cannot be seen in multiplayer.
Items enchanted with "Thorns" take durability damage if they are "Infinite uses". Unknown whether this effects Twilight Forest's "Fiery Aura I"
Dirt in Dravite-Augite Dimensions has an extremely high resistance and does not count as dirt at all (will not grow anything).
Dravite Cadilions incorrectly spawn in Azurite Dimension.
Looting I-III does not effect drops by most DivineRPG monsters, or increase drop rates like it does for Wither Skulls.
Magic Meat and Enriched Magic Meat heal the same amount of hunger and provide the same saturation.
Rupee Armor makes users completely invulnerable to melee damage because of it's set bonus stacking with protection enchantments and the actual damage reduction of the armor itself. It should only provide a maximum of 80% damage reduction + enchantments not 40 + 80 + enchantments (40-80% on top of the 120%).
Jungle Bats will randomly attack players seemingly for no reason at all, and then stop attacking.
I'm sure you already know, but some of those are known.
The thorns thing is because of how Minecraft works.
The dirt is supposed to be like that.
The cadilions are suposed to spawn in azurite.
The jungle bats are a unique sort of mob. They never go for the player to attack, but if you touch them, they automatically attack. (Not a bug)
Somehow I doubt the "Dirt supposed to be like that" is legitimate because it should at least support growth. It makes the dimensions look terrible and they should feel bad if that is true.
You may be right. But they may have just not implemented it on purpose. (Like tree saplings)
Is it any chance for a crawler pet like the desert crawler or cave crawler?
If it is can it be a tameable one, not one you have to trade to get. (But I want the pet the most so it isn't any sad thing if you need to buy it in like the Arcana or Vethea. ;))

I can clear up two of these.
Tar is acquired through picking it up with an Arcanium Bucket. Turning to lava in a regular bucket is intentional.
I believe that the x4 in the Corrupted Cannon's tooltip refers to the fact that each bullet used produces a spread shot of four, thus making it easier to hit mobs.
And as long as we're talking about bugs, I thought I was just imagining this, but it doesn't appear that Vethean armour is affecting the damage that I take. I tried testing the Tormented Armour set against a zombie (using NEI of course), and I took the same 1 and a half hearts of damage whether or not I was wearing the armour. Has anyone else noticed this?

The armor bug is indeed real and has been fixed for 1.4.
Just wait their getting there

and is the spineback worm/spinarus coming?
Vethea isn't changing, so there would be no point.
Before Half-Life 3.
That's coming in 1.4.1 when the contest mobs and mounts come out.

Did you read the mob list? Excluding Vethea!
No it was because Veatha isn't changing mobs.

No I'm sure they will fix bugs. I just ment no renames, removals, or additives of mobs.

Great. Gotta deal with that five-headed wither. Amazing update though. Keep up the good work!
