Impostor's Agriculture! [1.2.5] So I made a wiki so I can easily add in things at the end of the day of how everything is coming along. Just go look in the links and you will find all the new recipes and info. I am looking for somebody to put the information up on the wiki and post the new things coming in.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ So one day my friend kept bothering me on how Minecraft involved too much manly stuff and not enough feminine stuff. I pledged to that day that I would add so much feminine stuff that you could kill 5 minutes. In this mod it will include: -Barns -Scythes -Work clothes -New bosses -Weird forms of agriculture
I hope to one day have brought so much stuff just to farming that I could work on other aspects of the game. This is a test version and probably has bugs.
For this mod you will need to have:
Forge 1.2.5: http://minecraftforg...opic,237.0.html (Make sure to get the client)
Knowledge of the mod (wiki): http://impostorsagriculture.wikispaces.com/Impostor%27s+Agriculture
The wiki is still new, but right now it has all the recipes (I hope)
Installation help:
1. First get a clean Minecraft what hasn't been modded yet or touched(for optimum results)
2. Open up minecraft.jar in the bin folder with winrar or 7zip
3. Delete the META-INF folder (this folders checks to make sure Minecraft isn't modded)
4. Drag and drop the files in from forge in
5. Drag and drop the current files from Impostor Agriculture in
6. ?????
7. Enjoy Minecraft!
Installation for SMP:
1. Get a clean MinecraftServer.jar from Minecraft.net
2. Open up the jar with winRAR or 7zip
3. Drag Minecraft Forge Server files in (Do not delete META-INF ON SERVERS)
4. Drag Impostor's Agriculture SMP files in
5. ?????
6. Devils number. ..
7. GET FRIENDS!
These are test versions. This isn't the full version, but to my testers, these are what I would like you to test. I am not sure the SMP version includes everything or even works. If you could give me errors you get and suggestions of what I need to fix. Also error logs do help :3
I put 0.2 in the past versions if anybody wants a stabler build, but the SP version does work! Just, errm, you will find out.

-Reapers(mini-boss, give great weapons/armor)
-Scythes(right now are basically swords, but will be used later in farming)
-More work on adding in baskets
-Parts of the musket are now available
-Musket is being worked on
-New reaper armor (Very great-hard to get)

Guys I finished adding in all the frames and am working on one last set of recipes. I will post the mod probably around 5 with all the recipes up-to date.

Also I forgot to mention I will try updating the mods on Fridays. When we get to _0.5 I will start working on adding in SMP instead of adding in lots of new things. This might take the work of 2 weeks. With SMP it will also slow down updates to a 2 week time period.
I like it dude.Add any kind of vegtable you would plant and grow on a farm. Corn tomatoes potatoes carrots and soy beans.anything that can be planted and grown.I guess you could make a butter churn.Turn milk into butter.Maybe a pitch fork for use with the hay some how.thats all I can think of right now.

Technically corn is a grain,soy beans are beans, and tomatoes are fruit.
I finished the configuration file and will just reupdate the mod now instead of waiting till Friday so that you guys can enjoy the better mods out there.

Sweet can't wait.And this mod has all the potential to be just as good as all the top mods out there.If you could make a few machines(make them run on coal or something untill you can upgrade them)and make them compatible with industrial craft or build craft so that they would require their energy to run them you could have an awesome mod here.one machine you could have a tiller to create the water troughs and till the land an automatic planter and harvester like the froestry mod and a machine to add fertilizer.Just some Ideas I like mods that show originallity and potential to make it.

You mean like a trap to trap animals?I guess that would be ok it's your mod.
To be technical, Medieval European Farmers had traps like this and in a time of defense for their kingdom would help put these into ditches and keep the enemy away from the main farm. Instead the netherrack would be wood though.
But how is farming feminine? I'd think farming would be more on the manly side than the feminine side.
