There haven't been any updates because 1.6 broke everything ever and now they have to recode the entire mod from scratch. Plus San got a job and can only work on weekends.
So Silver, what percentage of the way done would you say the update is at this point? Again, no rush- go ahead and keep taking your time- just an idle comment so I can know when my cities will be filled up again.
There shouldn't be any conflicts, though it might help* if you tell us what mods you are using. It's also worth mentioning that the mod (except the 1.6.2 prerelease, which is extremely buggy) will not work on anything beyond 1.5, and that you need to have the old launcher installed in order to run those older versions properly.
Well then there lies a problem. I'm running above 1.5 (around 1.6-1.7) with the new launcher and the majority of my mods are 1.6, the rest being below that.
Hey Silver, quick question: do you think it would be possible to update the no-items alpha pre-release to 1.7? I have a Civilization world in a 1.7 terrain generator that I would like to fill up with soldiers, but I have no particular need for complex battles yet. It might take your mind off the whole item recoding thing for a few days.
Unfortunately, it seems that the Manager Mod has conflicts with the Gulliver Mod (GulliverForged). The current state of the Gulliver Mod for forge provides a custom version of Forge v871, which seems to not like your coremod. I've already tried removing other mods and testing it with only the Manager, but it crashes with the manager. Even only just loading the Clay Soldiers mod doesn't crash, but then the Clay Soldiers probably won't work.

I could, but I am a really slow typer. It would take me weeks, maybe months, to finish
Also, I read that they have to recode this because of 1.6. Does that mean the 1.5 version will word perfectly?
No. You would need true Minecraft 1.5 for that, and that would require still having the old launcher installed. There is a pre-release for 1.6 with no items or weapons added in- just the soldiers- but everything else is taking a long time.

So, I managed to install the 1.5 version of Clay Soldiers on Hexxit, the Technic pack. I happened to notice that the clay soldiers were taking the emeralds, and I have no idea why.

Could you please reupload it?
