For some reason the items and blocks are not showing up. And the GUI looks exactly the same on all the modes. But when I go have a look at a recipe the blocks and items appear! Pictures: http://imgur.com/a/ih1tC
I posted for help earlier in this thread. I wanted to say thanks for looking at it. I got it to work on my Windows running laptop. Still can't get it to run on my mac, but it's cool since my laptop is better. xD
I dont know if you know this but Better then wolves is not compatible with forge or FML thats why everyone is raging at you because of your big change to move like that

Mine doesn't even give me an error log I installed forge into my minecraft.jar, ran minecraft so it would generate coremods and mods. I placed both the .jars (CCC and NEI) into the coremods and every time i run it I get a black screen
ARRG! The Old Installation is Better I hate Forge And The FML is not working While it is doing the task thingy it just fatal Please Do the Old Installation
stupid question, what is FML? also, i cant use forge and my normal .minecraft doesnt have the folder were to put the jars (i have to play better than wolves) how do i install it?
FML is Forge Modloader, and is probably incompatible with BetterThanWolves. If you really like this mod, you can back up your .jar, force update, and install.
So does this mod HAVE to have Forge to work? Cause it says in the OP that it's only for the mobs in the mob spawners, but how else do I install the files because they are .jar files and I don't know how to install them any different then with Forge. But one of my mods that I can't live without is incompatible with Forge and if I don't have to use Forge for this please let me know! I need help! And if so, how do I install the files without Forge??? Help! D:
Ya know... I used to be able to play this mod, and then forge came up with this new fangled do-dad thingy mabob. Oh how I long for the days when all you needed was FREAKING MODLOADER!!!! THEY SAID IT WOULD WORK WITH ALL MODLOADER MODS!!!! IT DOESN'T DOES NOT!!!! Back to recipe book, Spawner GUI, and freaking TMI.... Thanks forge... Thank you and go die in a hole. However on a brighter note, when I was able to play this it was amazing.
Please shaddap. The Forge team has said that they can try to fix any incompatibility issues (with ML) on the home page of their forum, so you can report the issue. Although I would prefer if it went back to being an add-on. Compatible with MLMP. And, other than BetterThanWolves, I've only encountered one ML mod that's incompatible with Forge.

I see no reason the tasky thing is fatal, I can personally report it isn't. It might be easier installing your mods through Magic Launcher.

Am I installing FML wrong? because i see no "coremods" folder anywhere.
Just create one in your .minecraft directory.

Did you hit the O key? Sometimes it pops up already closed out and you have to hit O to open it back up.
I can't. Pressing O does nothing, nor do the other NEI keys respond, yet Forge reports CodeChickenCore and NEI as running, and there are no crash logs.
So what is the correct version? It's not 241 nor 245. Neither will open NEI, even on a clean install with nothing except Forge, ChickenBones and NEI present. Is NEI trying to use the MC 1.2.5 config and breaking itself?
Is it possible to get NEI working with Magic launcher?
I doubt it. Installing this mode in .minecraft/coremods as instructed does nothing. Moving them to .minecraft/mods so Magic Launcher can manage them does nothing. Renaming the files to .ZIP and loading through MagicLauncher simply crashes the game.

Weird. I always get an internal server error the first time I switch to C+ on a world, but it's fine after that.

Bizarre. Try deleting anything you can find in your .minecraft that you don't need? NEI 1.2.5 kept breaking itself for various purposes and this fixed it. I can tell you firsthand that I have an unmodded .jar, and I install mods through MagicLauncher, and I'm using NEI.

If i put NEI into the coremods folder, i have a Blackscreen.
If i remove NEI minecraft is running normally.
(CodeChicken Core is installe and runs!)
Odd. What version of Forge are you using? Also, can you post ForgeModLoader.log or whatever the file is with NEI in coremods?

ATM there is nothing in the coremod folder except CC-core
Where can i find the log?
Oh. Update Forge, that should fix the problem.

EDIT 2: The problem is that MCPatcher's HD features are incompatible with Forge. Uncheck all of them and just install Optifine with MCPatcher. (Optifine's a wonderful mod that's Forge-compatible and adds pretty much all the features MCPatcher does, in addition to reducing lag on most computers. It doesn't require Forge, though.)
