This does not appear to be working with version 1.1 of Minecraft. I have installed the version of Modloader that works with MC 1.1 and I have installed WorldEditCUI v1.1 The selection box is not showing up for me when I create a cuboid selection while using the wand tool.

Do you use WorldEditCUI V1.1A V1.1? Because there is a bug in 1.1 where the selection box isn't showing. Fixed in 1.1A.
why does it not work for me. I placed the files in the mod folder, and i have typed /we cui many times into ssp chat. Nothing works!!!
I need a new version of Modloader for 1.1 I force updated Minecraft.jar, deleted the Meta INF folder, copied the modloader files in.. then attempted to run Minecraft. Minecraft crashes.
This is the single worst set of installation instructions I've seen so far for Minecraft.
1. You have installed ModLoader (Link Removed) to minecraft.jar,
and have ensured that it works.
Done.
2. You have deleted META-INF/ from minecraft.jar
Done.
3. You are competent enough to provide useful error messages if it breaks.
There is so much fail in this line, I won't even go into it.
On to the overly complicated, uncommon "installation" de-structions:
1. Download WorldEditCUI and unzip it. Chances are you've already done that.
Done.
2. In the WorldEditCUI-build folder, copy the WorldEditCUI folder and all its
contents to the .minecraft/mods directory.
The minecraft directory structure should look something like this:
.minecraft/
bin/
mods/
WorldEditCUI/
Configuration.yml
mod_WorldEditCUI.class
wecui/
(lots of classes) <----- FALSE. "(folder-ception containing a ton of files and 5 class files)"
resources/
saves/
stats/
texturepacks/
Done.
In-game? Nothing at all happens. There are no selection graphics visible. (Mod Fail.)
ESC > Controls > "G" is the "CUIKey". Pressing "G" in-game only opens the chat line. (Mod Fail #2.)
Ok, let's do it the other way. Reset the minecraft.jar, delete BS folders from above placement.
1. Download WorldEditCUI and unzip it. Chances are you've already done that.
Done.
2. In the WorldEditCUI-build/WorldEditCUI/ folder, copy the wecui/ folder and all
of its contents into minecraft.jar. (If you don't know how to do this, there is
a handy guide at Link Removed on how to install mods)
Done.
3. In the WorldEditCUI-build folder, copy the WorldEditCUI folder and all its
contents to the .minecraft/mods directory.
Done.
4. In the .minecraft/mods directory, delete the following files:
a) mod_WorldEditCUI.class
:cool.gif: the entire wecui/ folder
The minecraft directory structure should look something like this:
.minecraft/
bin/
mods/
WorldEditCUI/
Configuration.yml
resources/
saves/
stats/
texturepacks/
Done.
In-game? The same problem. No selections are displayed. G key does nothing.
And why would this use an outdated WorldEdit 5.1 when WorldEdit 5.4 has been released?
Why does WorldEdit CUI for Minecraft 1.0.0 / 1.0.1 have 1 folder and 3 class files, while this (trash) has 12 folders and 9 class files?
Nice try, but it's back to the drawing board for this "mod"...

WorldEdit CUI for Minecraft 1.0.0/1.0.1: 27 files in 6 folders and worked just fine (sans poly).
WorldEdit CUI for Minecraft 1.1 (This thread): 729 files in 95 folders and doesn't do a damn thing.
LOL :blink.gif:
Did someone forget to reobfuscate the files? Is this some kind of MAC only version? Why such an astronomical difference in file/folder numbers? Why the 2,700% increase in file count? (1,583.33% increase in folder count.)

Be glad I'm talking to you with your current attitude. The reason for the size increase is due to including numerous dependencies, including WorldEdit itself. This is required for new features and forward-compatibility.
Also, if it's not working, you didn't install it correctly. Start from scratch.

You failed the test right there.
You didn't follow the instructions. Start from step 1.
Correct, and if you type worldedit commands into the console, it shows you help messages. Your fail.
Explained above.
Seriously. Refactor your attitude and try again. I refuse to help you any more unless it changes.
LMFAO. You never "helped" me in the first place, so "any more" is as inapplicable to me as your "mod" is to Minecraft without complete instructions for such a far-fetched installation procedure.
I followed your terrible "instructions" to the letter, starting with a brand new minecraft.jar for 1.1 each way. English must not be your first language, which would have been excusable if not for your terrible attitude.
It's hilarious that you take all your "Crap! I got called out for a bad job..." rage on me when there are other people posting the same exact thing- that nothing happens with this "mod".
This should work: http://bamboo.thezomg.com/browse/WECUI-WECUISTABLE-13/artifact/JOB1/ZIP/WorldEditCUI-1.0.zip
Yes it works with mods.
Any ideas?

Oh, that may be why.
Can you provide a link to 1.1A?Nevermind, found it.Thanks,

You can install everything in the jar for now. I'm working on a way to get the best of both worlds. For now, don't worry about it.
great :smile.gif: thanks!

I'm doing something wrong or it does not work?
There are plenty of other fish willing to help--you're not special, bro.
Also, I solved my problem, it was a mod sitting in the mods folder that was no longer compatible with Modloader for Minecraft 1.1.

Well done. And that little piece of advice will certainly fix a lot of other people's "nothing's happening" problems too.
