I don't mean to sound rude or anything but personally I agree that the models need work. Especially if you want to compeate with other dinosaur mods (eg Fossil / Archeology) the dinoauar models defiantly need a bit more detail.
The raptor type one in the 1st picture looks kinda sad (possibly the arm placement) and the tail section and body pose look kinda strange. The Braceosaurus in the 2nd picture is probably the best of all 3, but the proportions still look kinda off (couple be the head). As for the 3rd, im not sure what it is supposed to be.
I would recommend getting a hold of a toy dinosaur and using that as a base for your dinosaur model, mainly to try and get the proportions right. Thats what i did for this baby.
I modeled this off a toy rator I had laying around. I then made him slightly broader as I want him to (eventually) be a war mount for enemies in my mod.
Would you like me to make some quick dimension code I have made these so far from "JurassiCraft":
This dimension I made quickly it's a sky dimension like one with overpopulated trees.
No thanks, i've made the biomes I just haven't included them because it would mess up people's saves. I'll add a new dimension when support comes out soon.

I dont really care what the name is, it depends if everyone else thinks I should change it.
i dont care if my saves get screwed up, can you send it to me (if thats even possable) please!
It's a good start, at least, though it definitely needs a butt-load of work.
If you've already figured out how to create a new separate realm for the dinos, maybe try to work with the guys at the Archeology mod? Their models are a lot more advanced and they know how to work with the AI, so perhaps if you work with them you can create something truly spectacular (meaning a separate dino world with intelligent, good-looking dinos).

seriously, love the mod. i'm not gonna complain about the skins and the model, cuz its your first mod, i think its great that you are trying to create a mod better then jurrasicraft. love that mod as well the skin sucked at jurrasicraft and the flying dinosaurs did not fly it more like floated on the surface, anyway good luck doing great :smile.gif:

No mods that add a new dimension have been updated to 1.0.0 because it's too difficult, when modding support comes out (which is soon) I will add a new dimension.

Thanks, I tried updating Jurassicraft to 1.0.0 but it was taking too long, so I started from scratch.

Because i'm lazy. But I will work on my models, they are pretty $#!t. (They are my first)
Btw I have the ridable and controllable dino's nearly done.
Sounds pretty cool. Also please don't take offence with my post. I was just trying to, give some helpful advice
I didn't take offence, thanks for the advice though :biggrin.gif:
