What do you have to call the mod patch's map? I would think Mods/twilightforest/textures/
?? because thats where the textures are in the twilightforest.zip but it wont work. (I made a patch for myself)
I did that and also made the armor blocks gui items model maps inside like in the twilightforest.zip but it wont work. they will still appear as the default twilightforest textures.
Anyone have any help??

Behavior: Neutral. Disguises itself as a regular Twilight Oak Tree until hit. When hit, grow arms and legs, starts to have a face with a frowny mouth and red eyes, and starts throw-attacking you similar to an Iron Golem.

Spawn: In the regular Twilight Forest Biome and Plant Rooms in the Twilight Towers

Twilight Tower: Like a stronghold except spawns only in the regular Twilight Forest biome

Just a note, it turns out that the bug where some blocks (plants, nagastone, firefly jar, special tree leaves) were not appearing was due to a glitch in Forge in version 7.7.0.600. It's been fixed in later versions, although it's revealed a separate bug where I wasn't setting the firefly jar texture correctly. I'll have it fixed in the next release.
In the meantime, if you're having the bug with invisible blocks, try upgrading Forge.
i wonder, is it possible to make this mod compatible with custom mob spawner mod and make a patch/additional mod file for it? (patch so that it doesn't depend on it by default and can run solo as well)
as it is now, any mod that doesn't use it has spawning issues when combined with it, and unfortunately mo creatures doesn't come with an option not to use it.
dark towers and mazes are ridiculously easy, with the only enemies spawning being bosses/mini bosses and tile entity-created enemies (mob spawner, rotten planks etc).
You can go into Mo'Creatures cfg file and at the bottom is an entry to not use custommobspawner. Just set it to "false"(along with the despawnvanilla and modifyvanillaspawns options must be "false"). Mo'creatures can still be used. I am using Mo'Creatures with "Mob Spawn Control"(a seperate mod by Davidee), Twilight and Thaumcraft. I actually used MSC to bring Twilights squirrels, Deer, and Big Horned sheep to my overworld.... its pretty cool seein these squirrels in my overworld forests .
It takes some tweaking of Mo'Creatures cfg, and you have to adjust each and every biom's spawn by hand... one.... creature/animal/monster.... at...... a..... time.....

for the test work there is a repeating piston pressure plate with a repeater around the top of the last tower and if I am correct if this is a bug the very top of the last tower has no roof and some encased wood is floating on the four sides of it as if the other buildings are not there. There is also an obsidian/redstone block system in the final tower.
Love the mod, but I'm having a strange issue. I'm currently on 1.15.4 using TF on a SMP. When a user looks at the magic map, the server bogs down. I have no code to show anything for it, but when they open the map, the server stops responding and when they close the map the server resumes normal operation. During that time I can't run any commands or say anything in chat. I know from changelogs (I'm an IT guy and yes I read those) that there was a map/server issue resolved in an earlier patch.

I already have that that way. But twilightforest wont load them. I think the mod patch is kind of broken now :S
I have it in a .Zip file because thats what almost all texturepacks are

for the test work there is a repeating piston pressure plate with a repeater around the top of the last tower and if I am correct if this is a bug the very top of the last tower has no roof and some encased wood is floating on the four sides of it as if the other buildings are not there. There is also an obsidian/redstone block system in the final tower.
Love the mod, but I'm having a strange issue. I'm currently on 1.15.4 using TF on a SMP. When a user looks at the magic map, the server bogs down. I have no code to show anything for it, but when they open the map, the server stops responding and when they close the map the server resumes normal operation. During that time I can't run any commands or say anything in chat. I know from changelogs (I'm an IT guy and yes I read those) that there was a map/server issue resolved in an earlier patch.
