Also, I will have things done with in-game documentation, none of this nonsense about memorizing crafting recipes and trying to figure out how the hell potions work.
Agreed entirely. Despite what Notch may claim, in-game documentation in a game like this is a lot better than having to read a community-run wiki to figure out basics such as what the heck seeds and saplings are for. (It took me a week of gameplay before I realized that you could replant trees when I first started, and I had no idea why I'd want to replant all the tall grass I was clearing out of the way for my construction.)
So can anyone answer the problem? It seems like many people have the problem. Like I said before me and my friend simply crash randomly while on my server when it is set up for inficraft. We both have the mods (I think correctly) and the mods are on the server (again, I am pretty sure they are correct) and the mods work. but the random crashes.
Minecraft has stopped running because it encountered a problem.

I have tried everything I have read that could help this. removing the ore processing, creating an "mDiyo" folder in the .minecraft, using that newest 4096 fix. they seem to have helped the crashing a bit, but haven't stopped it.
Here's the weird thing, the crashes seem to happen exponentially faster the more we play at a time. It started only being about every 10 minutes, then they got to about every 10 seconds for my friend.
After some of the "fixes" i applied to my client I had a good half hour of playtime before a crash. Please help I really want to have some fun with this.
Nevermind guys I found the issue! Apparently the ID fix has been updated, so now its compatible with Forge.
That means I can use this incredible mod!
Diamonds for you!

I don't have an absolute answer but if it is anything similar to what my friends and I have been experiencing on our server then you will probably want to turn off mobs from the server properties and try to destroy and fill in any slime pools you know of, I don't have any proof besides word of mouth and my own observations but I think the pools tend to devolve into slimes spawning, killing each other or drowning or suffocating and it leads to an excessive number of entities from all the splitting into smaller slimes and the items dropping and the server has trouble conveying that information leading to the connection timing out.
Again no absolute proof but things tend to fail for us in the event that something like another item is dropped or if wild animals happen to also be in the area before all the slimes start splitting.

Slime pools are in orizon right? So just no orizon means no (or less) crashes?
What with the changes to remove ModLoader as a component in Forge and all, I do believe it's finally time to update the modpack. I'm not particularly thrilled about updating the base mods at the moment; those will find their way in tomorrow, as well as the complete package.
Pelirow: I may just add something for the player running out of air at high altitudes... but maybe not. In terraria you can jump all the way into space without worrying about it.
greatestdan: I do have a solution to your problem - update to the latest version of Forge. It has 4096 support, finally!
WolfGeek101: There's no kill unless it's overkill!
Also, I have a few designs for basic traps laying around right now. One of the simplest involves sharpening bamboo into punji sticks, slapping it in the ground on a wood board, putting a trapdoor on top of it, and then laying some sticks/leaves on top so that when you step on it you end up falling to your doom. That should make you pay more attention around someone's base, eh?
I updated to forge 137, only installed that in my client .jar
then I installed all of infitools and infiblocks and infibase to my mods folder. and I get the "java.lang.NoSuchFieldError: frozen" error again when I start a new world (or even enter one)
You really should add a lot more info onto the wiki about this mod. I cant for the life of me figure out how to get half the stuff in ur mod. On that note, how or where in the hell do i find coloured stone?
Hi everyone.
This is a great mod, it adds many useful things, especially infitools. The best thing about orizon is the config file, as i can change so much.
One thing i would like to know is why infiweapons was removed and if it will ever be re-added. I'm sorry if this question is stupid or has already been asked many times but i looked through many pages and did much searching.
Thank you!
I'm not sure what problem I'm having, because when I downloaded the mod and read the readme to install it, there was no "Clean Jar" folder in my zip. Did you take it out or something? If so, please change the readme so people like me won't get confused =D
Hey there,
I downloaded the complete mod pack yesterday, started with a fresh minecraft.jar file (in other words I launched Minecraft, clicked "Options" then clicked "Force Update"), then installed ModLoader and Forge in that order, and then took all the .zip files from the "InfiCraft-1.2.5-Client > Mods" folder and dropped them in the ".minecraft > mods" folder. But Minecraft keeps crashing when I try to log in. I downloaded and ran the error test and this is the message I got from Minecraft.

Did you install the client jar in your .jar, delete META-Inf, and then install the mods in your MODS folder?

Ahh ok now I see what I did wrong. After reading what you said, I realized I was missing something from the initial download, so I redownloaded the mod and then I saw the "Clean Jar" folder I kept reading about in the instructions. It all works now. Thanks!
Awesome job on this mod! You deserve a medal! This is the most thorough and expansive mod I've ever seen in Minecraft. It not only enhances the environment of Minecraft, but it also enhances the architectural ability of the player 100 fold. Not to mention the hundreds upon hundreds of tool combinations that make harvesting materials that much easier. Outstanding job!

I've updated the base mods on clients and posted a link in the beta section on the first post. Would anyone care to test it? Let me know if anything at all is odd or missing.
juanjose920_12: I think all of the bugs are worked out of 4096 in the latest version of Forge, 139. Try that instead.
greatestdan: You likely have something in InfiTools that's outdated. Try updating them.
futuramafan: Not a wiki person, sorry. Try looking underground with Orizon installed?
Ohminegoodness: All of the weapons were the same. It rubbed my design sense the wrong way, and I may have something later... in a new mod. muahaha...
Terry13: Yep, been meaning to put it back in but Forge has been doing funny things of late.
ThePwnd: For future reference, use a more recent version of Forge or older than 126 and 4096 Fix. The one included with the old modpack is 121, I believe.
