Oh, that sounds like my case! There ARE IC2/BC3 conflict (some BC items in NEI also missing - that might be another sign of the conflict)
Anyways, I'll try to resolve it this evening.
BTW, I LOVE Thermal expansion! It might partially replace IC2, which is starting to be boring for me...
Manually looking is always a good idea seeing as some newer builds for mods occsionally don't have the automatic addition of the ID's for the newest additions.
Though in theory with stable releases you shouldn't have a problem like this happening.
From what I've read and heard thats exactly what can be done. The Liquid API allows all liquids that it registers to be used through anything that uses the API as a liquid. Whether or not it can be placed in the world though is handled by something else, not being a coder I wasn't entirely sure what they were talking about (this was on a stream in the last week... forget which though). ((Edit:- Might have been talked about in one of the DW20 videos, wrote the above but remembered I'd not watched much streams ina while...))
Or you could try XACT which is pretty much a project table MKII... or III. Has a carfting table replacement that works like a RPpr6 Project table to store recipes and a further work bench to use those recipes. It's not identical but quite an adequate replacement.
The Liquid API should allow for liquid placement too...

and actually the FTB pack is waiting on RP to go to 1.4.5, the first official release of the pack.
Yeah, tekkit's still waiting on Redpower, pretty much the only modification that hasn't updated. Everything else has however. (ee3 will be a major change for tekkit players though. But I'm glad for the balancing acts the author is putting in for it.)
Now that IC2 fixed ore dictionary, the mods below all work nicely together again:
Have to delete the config folder contents if you install them one by one and run forge between each new mod. Or else it'll have conflicts all over.

Yes it was mentioned during DW20 recording. He commented that now there will be lots of people developing blood mods. Since each liquid can now be placed in the world and form lakes (Xcompwiz wanted that I think for mystcraft), you could spawn (from a mystcraft book probably) next to a large sea (or lake) of blood).
EDIT: Yes Xcompwiz wanted lakes of honey. I was meaning more generally in that what he wanted was for liquid (which he was thinking of honey) could from lakes.

I thought Xcompwiz wanted lakes of honey, it was someone else that wanted lakes of blood wasn't it?
ee3 has red liquid of sorts (makes the area's sky around it dark.) I'm unsure what it's for yet, but it can be placed.
Red Water. Poisonous corruption of water that's gonna be required for the Philosopher's Stone once Pahimar's got it working right and releases it, if memory serves.
FTB hopes to have DW's pack and the Tech pack out real soon and the Ultimate Pack (which will include just about every mod you can imagine) before the end of the year, all of which will include RP2 and TC3 (except for Tech pack though you can easily add it yourself by dropping it in the Mods tab in the launcher). While they haven't given a date, saying Jan or even Christmas is overly pessimistic at this point now that Eloraam is working on it again.
Speaking of FTB, they managed to pull a Tekkit takeover...yogscast and mindcrack are both going to be using it once the official main pack is released. Slow announced that last night in his announcement Stream he ran for about an hour.
Well all the debating back and forth about whether or not she would nerf the Block breaker, that currently hasn't happened as per DW making them in his vid today. Recipe wise anyway.
OT Looking forward to using the redwires again ^^ Forgot how much I relied on them xD
thanks for that sweeping generalisation that all people who enjoy yogscast are bad (still not the worst generalisation i have ever heard that one goes to isreal saying everyone in my country is an anti-semite)
In my opinion the fact that yogscast will be moving to a mod pack where the modders have in fact approved to be in it instead of just finding out there mods have been added to a mod pack is a good thing
Feed the Beast is a good mod pack but not on 1.4.5
if they wait for redpower, they wait even longer
I Playing with a self-created and modpack 1.4.5 server and once redpower comes out I'm going to install
There are a couple of packs that are 1.4.5 already. The Magic Worlds Pack which contains TC3, the Voxel Pack and the Universal Electricity Pack. RP2 is going to be in the Tech Pack, Direwolf Pack and Ultimate Pack, the first two which they hope to have out soon and the ultimate pack by the end of the year as it will include just about every mod (that makes sense to include) in it. They were very optimistic on Slow's stream it is only a matter of days now that she has time to work on it.

Sorry to on your party, however as permissions are such a big thing with FTB, it is possible some of the mod makers for FTB, and who don't like Yogscast, in part for their involvement with Technic, may not grant them permission to broadcast their mods on youtube. If we are being honest, and if permissions are paramount then, reboadcasting without permission (and what's more making money off of it) is just as disrespectful as redistributing the mods in the first place.
Also:
I like idea of Tungsten carbide, however it is a fairly complex ceramic that requires complex gas and liquid phase chemical reactions that would make factorization ore production look simple. There's likely going to be more than just the "chemistry bench" to make it. IE: lots and lots of time both to code and use.
It is great for the FTB team though, terrible or not they have a tremendous following.
I am with you on redwire...I miss them and everything RP2 related as I just set up my main factory area.
but, as slow said when people at minecon were promoting the FTB pack, this might not be the best timing for them to switch since the launcher and pack still have quite a few problems

Quickfix :3
This. Pretty sure she said the releases / builds would all be private.
She has said that she moved all development to 1.4.5. There will be no 1.4.2 or 1.4.4.
would be nice if christmas wasnt 20 odd days away...

Oh great .. not. The yogscast are terrible.
