I wouldn't have so much of an issue with it had they used polycarbonate resin and carbon fibre sheeting there's a disparity here with the mishmash of tech levels.. it's the problem I have with any of the "High tech" mods.. Redpower, Tekkit etc.. I always think of Minecraft as a sort of "pre-industrial" game. Adding computers and lasers et al are like .. like... well.. like giving machine guns to cave men XD hehe

My post wasn't directed at anyone in particular. In the past some btw users have gone all Rambo on the rp community before over the addition over remotely similar features when there was no reason to stir up trouble.
As far as what you think rps features recipes should be, take that to their thread and keep this about btw.

Yeah...guys, let's please drop the RP discussion. We're basically being trolled by two people here: the person that created the thing, and the person that posted the screenshot.

I'll be reporting further posts about RP as off-topic, and I'd ask the moderators to please trim such posts before this spirals into a flame-war.

Ahhh. The old MCF thread. It's like the Evacuation point where we have to go when there's a fire in the building.

You've done an awesome job Sargunster keeping it going for as long as you have without disruption. Out of curiosity though, do you know if it has had anything to do with the occasional 500 and timeout errors I've been noticing over the past week? I just assumed that the Forum hit new levels of popularity.

I love this mod.. except for one thing. :l I can't get optifine to work with it.. I always get misplaced textures. anyone have any tips?

As far as I know, the only way to get them to work is to use an old version of optifine - B2, I think it's called. Recent versions aren't compatible at all.

Hey, FC, I know it's a bit late, but that Hardcore Buoy thing? Yeah, it's awesome.

I hadn't really gotten a chance to play with it until recently, as I was rebuilding my milling room and tweaking it a bit.

Finally got to play with the water flows, and I was just throwing stuff in the water with a big-a** grin on my face watching it react.

Way to go man, you rock.

Thanks man! Yeah, it's amazing what little things like that can do for your overall sense of immersion. They're not exactly "big ticket items" in terms of "oooo" and "aaaaah", and they do take a fair amount of work to get right. They're more the kind of little things that just all add up to more fun in the long run.

FlowerChild, I have some suggestions for you(all of these require steel):
Pipes: Pretty self explanatory.Same as BC pipes.
Steel Hoppers: More advanced version of hopper.If you place items in the filter slots, only these items will pass through.Also, it can extract items out of nearby inventories when supplied with mechanical power.
Soul Extracing Machine:Basically a faster and more efficient way to produce Soul Urns.Place Soul Dust in the upper slot,Urns in the bottom one and supply the machine with mechanical power.It will produce one Soul Urns per 6 soul dust.Be careful though:mobs will spawn around the machine even if the area is lit up!
