Yes, but it has all the features (well, except it not being the MT version) and is working quite well for me anyway. If you're on 1.9 pre5 there's no reason for you to not try it.
The guy you replied to specifically asked if there would be an update to the latest pre-release 5. You, however, did not specify any different in your reply either. Please learn to read everything fully and check things back a couple of pages before you frivolously reply to stuff from now on.
Once again, thanks for the work!
I'm using HD AA D1 on a clean 1.8.1, except for toomanyitems which do not have conflicting classes. Running it on HD5850 on Catalyst 11.10. AA and AF settings are left to "Use application settings"
The AA and AF filters works and looks great until the player's crosshair points at a block, when the block bounding box is drawn. Then the AA and AF stops working and textures look blurry and aliased, however edges of polygons are still smoothed.
Looks like you have a general AA/AF problem.
AA and AF should stay on when forced with the graphics driver control panel. It could be some "intelligent" driver option which reduces quality (AA/AF) when the performance is not good enough.
One thing I'm having some issues with is the view distance, I'm trying to use view far to increase it to 512 but it doesn't seem to do anything at all.
Any ideas?
First off, love Optifine, couldn't live without it. At least, until 1.9 Prerelease 5 included a MASSIVE performance increase.
My only issue: it conflicts with Modloader. At least ti.class does. Previous versions worked fine - I just ignored the optifine ti.class and used Modloader's. But this version there is a conflict. I can run Optifine or Modloader, but not both. Is there a solution?
Correction: Using Optifog's ti.class works fine. It was the included HD textures and HD font with MCPatcher that were causing the conflict. It all works when I unchecked those things.
Just noticed a bug with the latest OptiFine AA D2.
Before, with OptiFine AA D1, the BuildCraft oil texture worked perfectly with a 32x texture pack. Now it's broken, and not showing up correctly. It's just a see through black.
For those of you experiencing the chunk flickering issues with the multi-threaded edition, I may have found a large part of the reason for it. I need others to test this too. It seems to have helped me.
If you're using an NVIDIA Graphics Card (and/or chipset), go into the NVIDIA Control Panel (after you have updated your graphics driver to the latest one of course). Under the "Manage 3D Settings" section there should be an option in the list for "Vertical Sync." Change this to "Force On" if it isn't already. Then, try the multi-threaded edition and post here if it solved (or at least helped) any flickering issues that you were having with the multi-threaded edition.
Ok, I donwloaded it and changed the options and the result was great!
But, I was playing on a server yesterday (the day I downloaded) and minecraft crashed!
Then a super giant error code appeard (but of course I'm not going to put here, it is giant)
And this is really annoying! Now when I play, after some time my game crash!
He's already working on it.
To the both of you, he already did. Check a couple of pages back and also at the very top of the original post. Pays to read back a couple of pages.

Well it's a preview. Not a full release.
He'll probably implement that. Although unknown

FarView works like this: http://imgur.com/a/CtKUj#0
Edit: Oh, and Water Shader. :laugh.gif:
Fixed all known problems of the 19p5 and the 181_AA version.
Small bugfixes for all other.
The new D2 AA/AF looks amazing! Nice to have all the Forge items working perfectly. Still great performance on my rig also. It's so SMOOOOOTH!

People can't help you if you don't post the error code text.
Just put it between spoiler tags so it is hidden until someone wants to look at it if he/she chooses.
