Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
There will always be that kind of a moment at least once in everyone's life. That moment when your sitting there listening to someone going down memory lane, but really not listening at all.
Well, during my daily "let's see if I can get SPC to work today" I got a split second of hope and gameplay, then a crash. But, for the first time, I got a crash report.
Up till now, I've been getting a hang on "Loading World" with no quit/crash, and I have to force quit myself.

When I Force Quit my forge version (hanging on "Loading Screen/Building Terrain"), I copied the end log screen on the launcher.
Forge works fine without SPC with all mods working properly, and Forge still lists SPC as "v 1.0."

You need to create a bin folder in your Minecraft folder and put WorldEdit.jar in there!

your minecraft doesn't have enough any memory (RAM) 16 - 123
Player API always needs to be installed *over* SPC, otherwise it won't work.
Hmm I tried using base edits with your and simo's version of SPC, and even with the correct JVM arguments to be used with forge for mods that needs forge's jar to be modified, it crashed the launcher.
Therefore, I tried an alternate method, using JSON sources and puting SPC in it's own directory in the library folder, but that instead brings up an incompatibillity with the Player API (Which goes in the mods folder now for forge), unless I'm doing it wrong, but many others have the same problem.
No i don't think it would considering Galaticraft doesn't effect any commands although i might be careful using the worldedit to move Galaticraft items
I have tried everything to get this to work, I even tried using Magic Launcher but I still can't figure it out. Are there any videos or anything on how to install it manually? Im really bad at all this mod stuff so I can't figure it out! Thanks in advance!Relating to my previous post, I am using a mac and have Forge installed but I can delete it if needed. My minecraft version is 1.6.2

Thanks for owning up to a Mac. You are among many that can't get it to work on a Mac. Wish I could be more helpful.
How do you install it if you have forge already?I have multiple mods requiring forge so i can't remove forge

I've tried a dozen different ways with 2 different SPC versions and have had some success.
Install Forge.
Use MagicLauncher to launch Forge and put SPC in the add tab. I should warn you I see some strange happenings with Magic. I don't fully trust the current version.
Best I've been able to do with Forge.
Lou
As visual as you've been odds are very good some other Macster would have spoken up.
I still don't understand why you guys don't have your own thread. Somewhere you can exchange ideas and discoveries.
Lou
There is a "Modding for Mac" discussion, but the last I've seen were things like "Where is the /minecraft folder?" or tutorials on how to mod 1.5.2 (same for video tutorials). About 90% of modding is exactly the same (with exceptions like the /com folder or decompressing the .jar). Usually I can follow PC tutorials, but SPC for 1.6.2 is the first real problem I've encountered.
I'm having trouble with this mod. I installed SPC EXACTLY the way the instructions said to do it, but Minecraft crashed anyway. The only other mods i'm running are Rei's minimap, Toomanyitems, and Modloader, ALL of which have had no problems with SPC in the past.

@ jimlapbap;
You guys are a strange bunch. I PMed 3 of the posters in this thread with what needed to done to fix the no sound problem. I suggested to each they post the fix (I didn't want that thread added to my content). Not one of them was willing to inform the rest. http://www.minecraft.../#entry22990276
We (and other threads) often get persistent posters that complain bitterly over many pages about a problem. Only after the entire thread is ready to murder them do they finally admit it's a Mac.
There have to some genius level Mac users but they almost never help a fellow user. I just don't understand why.

Forge works fine without SPC with all mods working properly, and Forge still lists SPC as "v 1.0."

and P.S. to everyone who keeps saying there's no bin folder.
You need to create a bin folder in your Minecraft folder and put WorldEdit.jar in there!

D'oh. I thought I'd done something else right/wrong. I was just running a high RAM program at the same time.

I can get it to work with Forge but, ONLY by launching everything with MagicLauncher, after creating a Forge version.

If you wanted to create a new folder could you?
Why don't you!
It's an intelligence test, your marks aren't good!

Thanks for owning up to a Mac. You are among many that can't get it to work on a Mac. Wish I could be more helpful.

I still don't understand why you guys don't have your own thread. Somewhere you can exchange ideas and discoveries.

The crash log:
You guys are a strange bunch. I PMed 3 of the posters in this thread with what needed to done to fix the no sound problem. I suggested to each they post the fix (I didn't want that thread added to my content). Not one of them was willing to inform the rest.

We (and other threads) often get persistent posters that complain bitterly over many pages about a problem. Only after the entire thread is ready to murder them do they finally admit it's a Mac.
There have to some genius level Mac users but they almost never help a fellow user. I just don't understand why.
