Is there any way to turn the commands off in Minecraft? It keeps thinking that I am trying to enter console commands instead of SPCs. I did the automated instillation.
That's why they don't work! Holy crap! I thought it was because I was doing something wrong. Also, the /spawner command doesn't work no matter how I do it either with the name or number.
Why don't you visit the OP (page 1) and read what SPC commands are available? You can see most WE commands with /help. Every WE command needs one /, those help show with 1 / need 2 //s.

Cheats must be enabled for the updated commands to operate. Do you know what commands are available in 1.3.2? Where might you find that out?
If you really want to disable SPC may I suggest "Force Update"? Or you could reinstall the MC.jar the installation instruction suggested you make!
Well if cheats need to be enabled, then it just doesn't work for me. when I bring up the console it says the message about spc and author, etc. but none of the listed commands work and especially the world edit commands, it says command not found... so it's installed but not installed... guess I'll have to try again
hey simo, I know you're working hard on re-adding commands, but could you possibly make copy and pasting between worlds a priority? my clipboard clears itself every time i save and quit.

Daily, thousands sign into MC for the first time. IMO the majority of them are very young with limited exposure to the Internet and even less dealing with adults beyond their parents and teachers. Their entire existence has been have a question, ask Dad/Mom. We need to teach them to try solve the problem on their own first!
If we can inspire them to think/read before they post; the Internet and eventually the World is a better place for it. We can only reach them one at a time!
If by some miracle they actually read a prior post, perhaps by me. That shouts/ridicules someone that didn't think/read before they posted, and think "What a ***** he is, I need to read a few posts, or use the search function". I'm willing to bear that, if it inspires them to think/read/help themselves.
My past career is partly the reason why I'm like I am. People's lives depended at my subordinates getting instructions correct. There wasn't time or a safety margin to repeat myself, it had to correct the first time. I got quite good at getting instruction across once (most often "What does the Technical Order (instruction) say?")! Those that worked for me that I've met later in my career always tell me they enjoyed our time together and asked if it possible they work for me again. We can try to teach them to think for themselves and improve the World at large; or we can simply provide the answer they seek and add to the "help me" problem. It's a rare day you'll find me adding to the problem even though it's much easier!
Forgive my long off topic response. IMO even you are becomming frustrated at the endless flood of those that ask the same question time and again. Please don't get angry at my repeated answer, find a better solution. Short of Curse enforcing some "you must have opened the last 5 pages prior to post" requirement. I don't see any solution.

I love this mod! Next could you please add the /kill NPC and /terminate (I think that's what it's called) command? I love the /explode command! One time I typed in /explode 50 and the explosion was so big it crashed my game! When I came back there was a fairly large hole in the map. Talk about a fun way to crash your game!
killall is a useful cmd, also this sounds hard to add but with the new spawners, add the /spawner cmd back but with different enitys such as sand/tnt/ect
@everyone else:
When a person is hungry (or as is the case here, looking for answers), and you give him a fish (an answer), he will be satisfied for the moment. But that person will inevitably be hungry again (have another question). The best solution is to teach that person how to get his own food, how to fish. As it is in this thread, it is best to teach those asking questions, how to get the answers for themselves.

Reader's Digest answer; when the same question is asked, and I have provided a good answer, I'll repeat the good answer, no matter how many times it's been used in the past (I reserve the right to growl!). I will question whether my answer is complete and clear, if I see need to improve I will. If you have a suggested improvement Please provide it.
Please don't lose patience with me; lose patience with those that don't read before asking.

Nope, installing this on the Snapshot Jar will give you a Black Screen.

As a bug report that is useless Please post the whole crash log so Simo has a chance of using it to work out what went wrong.
