I love your mod. Its my favorite out of every mod out there! There is just one problem...
When I tried to go into the new server, the one with the Biomes O' Plenty, and such, yeah it says this...
Forge Mod Loader has found ID mismatches
Complete details are in the log file.
I apologize if this has been mentioned before and people are aware of it but i'm having an issue with mo'creatures.
Single players runs fine (and people saying it doesn't work with 712, it does)
A locally hosted server runs fine, not a problem everything is as it should be.
A dedicated server, paid for, and things get very interesting indeed. Some animals are invisible (even when you use the spawn eggs they are still invisible), other animals aren't even what they should be, I've got horses that have changed to rats, giant bunnies that were turtles, mental turkey's that kill everything they see.
Normally i'd say yeah it must be an entity conflict of some sort but it's definitely not. Single player, locally hosted servers and the dedicated servers all have exactly the same config file and single player and locally hosted ones work fine. It's just the dedicated paid for servers that are all messed up. And i'm not the only person that's having this problem so i'm not alone with this. I wouldn't be too bothered but paying for a server to run a mod that's not working is a bit annoying.
Are these paid for server's ones you are running? Because the files are more than likely setup differently than what you or anyone who's having these issues have. Commonly this is caused by the order the mods are loaded that are giving entity errors.
This has been discussed before on how to fix this issue. If you're using a launcher, move the order the mods are in the list, and if there is no launcher, put numbers before the names of the mods zip folders...
That is how i fixed my issue

My minecraft is now crashing when Mo creatures is active, and I believe it is related to a tame elephant: A friend right-clicked the same moment I pressed shift to get off. I stayed on & couldn't move, & according to them they got on and were stuck as well. They disconnected, and I think the elephant either moved on it's own or attempted to follow one of our key commands. I was still out of control when my friend re-logged, (off the elephant), and at this point I quit. Minecraft hung, closed it with tsk manager, and on restart gave the following error message:
Minecraft has crashed!

Use the config files for MoC... There you can set the spawn settings to 0 which will prevent them spawning completely...
Not to complain, but I think it's about time the Big Cat models get an update, all the other creatures make them look pretty lazy by comparison.
There are quite a few things that should be updated to go with some of the newer creatures released... However one step at a time... Bugs need to be worked out first, and priorities that Dr. Zhark may not include re-skinning those mobs just yet...
But, since this is technically a suggestion, it does not go on this thread....

You've installed in the wrong locations.
Forge modloader goes into minecraft jar.
GuiAPI goes into coremods folder,
custom mob spawner and mo creatures goes into mods folder.

just to bring it up again as its been buried under error reports and people missing the suggestions thread;
as of right now Mo creatures DO NOT work with Better World Generation due to no BWG biome calls present in mo creatures and nothing short of zhark incoporating BWG support into mo creatures will fix this I've sent a PM to zhark alerting him to this as I'm not the only person who uses these two mods in conjunction and from what I've seen the minecraft modding scene seems to not like to talk to one another
I am sorry if this may be the wrong place, but I was hoping someone could point me to:
- A place I can be walkthrough-ed how to add mods (specifically this one, since it's my favorite) to a multiplayer Minecraft server? Or could anyone tell me how here? I use logmein hamachi to play on my server with people - dunno if that makes a difference.
- Where I can find the latest version of this Mo' Creatures mod mean for the multiplayer servers? Or can I use the basic mod download for anything?
- Does the method of adding mods to servers work for basically every mod, or does each specific mod have its own entire process?

While i'm not familiar with hamachi... I can assist you with your other two questions...
The latest version of Mo' Creatures and any mod really I believe is compatible with multiplayer servers. However anyone wanting to play on those servers would have to get the exact same mod installed onto their client to access that server.
When installing Mo' Creatures to a server, you will need both Mo' Creatures and Custom Mob Spawner but NOT GuiAPI. On server's with Mo' Creatures you will need a server jar with Forge on/in it. The most commonly used Forge related server jar is MCPC+. This is because it allows the use of plugins on the server as well, because it also provides Bukkit.
Plugins don't require an installation to the client portion of Minecraft as well, which is the reason you will find that most server's are indeed Bukkit servers.
As far as I know, installing any sort of mod on a server is the same. It's basically just like installing the mods to your client, when a mod goes into a /mod folder in your /minecraft it goes there for the server as well. The same thing goes for anything that would go into a /coremods folder too I would suppose.
Don't quote me on the coremods bit, I never installed any kind of mod that required a coremod on my server. Simply because Mo' Creatures didn't require GuiAPI on server side.

Hello. I have.. well.. theOfficial Mo Creatures Server has a little error, and I let Kratos_Knox know about it. When you go to the Wyvern Lair the Wyverns usually fly out into "oblivion". They fly over the edge of the Island and rarely and/or never return to the Island, so they usually fall into the void after quite some time, but it takes forever, and that usually leaves 1-3 Wyverns at most spawning on the Island, and of course, when trying to kill those they fly over the edge aswell and are impossible to get to without a flying mount to try and kill them. http://i.imgur.com/88tmqcr.png

This isn't a server related error, this happens in general. If you're talking about the spawn rate within the lair then yes that's changed/set by the server but the Wyvern's flying out "into oblivion" is normal, and they're more than likely not going to come back because you've hurt them badly. This is why they suggest strong weapons when you go into the lair and a ranged weapon to get them when they become out of reach.
Also, why the Wyvern's might be considered a hostile mob... I have discovered that they tend to "run away" from the player when you start to get close enough to them. Until you are right on them they won't bother you. Try sprinting up to them instead of walking over to them, they seem to run/fly away otherwise.
This may help avoiding the "oblivion full of wyvern" you're seeing. They're simply just being chased there one way or another.. :\

We need a full report to be able to help you, this doesn't really tell us much...
And PLEASE use spoilers when you do post a full report... x.x
I'm using Crudedragon's JAS spawner, in my opinion the superior one to any other around. This means I have to manually configure the spawnlist.
No problem, except for the fact that I'd very much like a list to see in what biome each Mo Creature mob is supposed to spawn. Frequency and all that are unimportant to me, just the location.
Anybody willing to provide me a link to Mo Creatures 5.2.2 spawn locations? Or if that's not available, anyone willing to compile a list? But please, a more or less "logical" spawnlist. Not like Giraffes in Swamps and Scorpions in End or something along the lines.
Thanks in Advance!
I don't even think Mo' Creatures will work without installing Custom Mob Spawner. I've heard that you can disable it, but it's caused problems doing so before...
Also, there is a more or less list of where these mobs are supposed to spawn in the MoC config files... Let alone they should be able to be determined where you feel they should and shouldn't be in the first place.

Yesterday, I downloaded Mo' Creatures. I was able to play on Minecraft as single player for a couple of hours. Then I had to log off and when I attempted to get back on it immediately crashed. I removed META-INF or whatever its called but it wont stop crashing. All I can do is log on before it crashes. Anyone know why? Or what I can do to stop it?
Here is the crash-report... I don't know how to do it in spoiler.

Figure I might try reinstalling mo creatures in the morning. Any insights?
Not sure what's causing your crash, too tired to really look at it... But an FYI, it's F to dismount, not shift...
Use the config files for MoC... There you can set the spawn settings to 0 which will prevent them spawning completely...
There are quite a few things that should be updated to go with some of the newer creatures released... However one step at a time... Bugs need to be worked out first, and priorities that Dr. Zhark may not include re-skinning those mobs just yet...
But, since this is technically a suggestion, it does not go on this thread....

Please help me
Error reports in spoilers plz...
You've installed in the wrong locations.
Forge modloader goes into minecraft jar.
GuiAPI goes into coremods folder,
custom mob spawner and mo creatures goes into mods folder.

as of right now Mo creatures DO NOT work with Better World Generation due to no BWG biome calls present in mo creatures and nothing short of zhark incoporating BWG support into mo creatures will fix this I've sent a PM to zhark alerting him to this as I'm not the only person who uses these two mods in conjunction and from what I've seen the minecraft modding scene seems to not like to talk to one another
- A place I can be walkthrough-ed how to add mods (specifically this one, since it's my favorite) to a multiplayer Minecraft server? Or could anyone tell me how here? I use logmein hamachi to play on my server with people - dunno if that makes a difference.
- Where I can find the latest version of this Mo' Creatures mod mean for the multiplayer servers? Or can I use the basic mod download for anything?
- Does the method of adding mods to servers work for basically every mod, or does each specific mod have its own entire process?
Thanks in advance.

--- END ERROR REPORT d9bf8898 ----------
The only other mods I've got are Rei's minimap and Single Player commands D:
And PLEASE use spoilers when you do post a full report... x.x
