Well, I've always hated the look of glass since there's those lines in the middle, so I wanted to change that. I looked up texture pack's and found some that corrected just that, except they were for 1.1. I'm using the new snapshot because I'm using the lamps since they're really useful. And I found some texture packs for the new snapshot that have clear glass, except they have SUPER crappy other things, like wannabe dokucrafts. So I figured I'd just change it on my own, but I can't find the texture pack for the regular texture pack, so is that not supposed to be so, or is there a site I can use? Or where is the file?

Im not sure, but I think that if you get a 1.1 texture pack it wont mess up new additions, it will just not have new textures for them. This may not work for the windows method of applying texture packs but I know it will if you replace the actual texture files with the textures. Hope I helped!
"I understood everything until the sentence before last."
sorry, i meant to say i cant find the FILES for the regular texture pack.
"$#.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar\terrain.png"

sorry but i alrady tried that using a 1.1 TP, and no it didnt work. the wood only showed the top and bottom texture since it was the same as normal, and the rest didnt appear. :sad.gif:
