The wooden planks and wood need to be more or a brown color than a red
I do agree I need to tone it down a bit, but I still need to maintain a strong red coloring because the type of wood I am looking for has a strong red color to it.

I would say that the block should have the different shades of red with a thin black line seperating them. The only thing I would look more into is making the top of the wood look different. It kinda looks confusing when I look down and see red. The thing that I like with this pack is the fact that I now run at 50 fps rather than 20 fps. Thats what I enjoy the most of it.
2. The cobblestone is ugly. Maybe it could look a bit like stone bricks?
3. Diamond should be Emerald! Like it originaly was!
Besides that, I love it! :smile.gif:

I think I can address all three of them right now.
1. You can't change the Pumpkin overlay in a texture pack and it makes sense to obstruct your vision so you can't wear it all the time and be immune to Endermen without any side effects.
2. With the addition of the smooth stone bricks, I can't make the cobblestone into bricks without it becoming too confusing. I am always fiddling with the textures though.
3. I never changed the diamond item from the base textures.

1. Well I think if pumpkins obstruct your vision, then helmets should too(albeit a lot less).
2. I'm not saying make the cobblestone look like exactly bricks, I'm saying make it look more like a grey brick-like block than a grey blob block.
3. I know you didn't change the diamond texture. When diamond was first introduced into Minecraft, it was green and most players called it "emerald". Then it was changed to blue and people started to call it diamond. Then after a while, in a different update(the one where they added the feature that when you hover your mouse over a item, it shows you the name), it was confirmed it was now diamond. I think it should be emerald again.
NEW CRITICAL CRITICISM
4. Sand stone looks like sandy brick. From the crafting recipe, this makes sense. But, when you mine in the desert, it looks as if someone built the desert.
5. You can change the pumpkin overlay, Norsecraft does.

1. I would like that too, but unfortunately that is impossible at the moment.
2. I will keep that in mind for the next release.
3. I agree that would have a great nostalgic effect, but it would be conflicting with many things in the game.
4. I agree with that, but I was trying to make a building material that looked nice, like the Egyptian sandstone.
I updated it 2 days ago an that version is compatible with 1.1
My friend was in Creative in creative mode on our server. He spawned me in some spawner eggs and I couldn't see them in his hand. The spawner eggs don't have an icon! :sad.gif:

Someone needs to make a redstone mod. Why not you?

Last time I used the pack I used the eggs perfectly fine. Did you make sure you changed to the new pack, try redownloading if that doesn't work.
You do know I'm not talking about the chicken eggs, right? I mean the creative-only spawner eggs.
Yes I am aware that you are talking about the spawner eggs, I am using "Redwood Pack 10.5_2" It has some minor changes and additions compared to the one I gave you to beta test. Did you download it from the topic when I released the official version?

Turns out it was a mod I was using that messed up the eggs. Thanks

I have updated the pack to be compatible with "12w07b". I am sorry for the lack of updates as of late, I have been extremely sick for the past 2 weeks. This update changes a few things and adds what I missed.

It took a while, but I now have criticism!
1. I think the pumpkin shouldn't obstruct vision.
2. The cobblestone is ugly. Maybe it could look a bit like stone bricks?
3. Diamond should be Emerald! Like it originaly was!

I looked at my current texture pack, Redwood Pack 10.5_27, and mine looks normal. Do you have any mods installed?
Make the record player and noteblocks match the colour of the rest of the wooden items. If they already do then update the pic of the blocks.
