The 4 has changed to a 5 on the "Minecraft Beta 1.9 Prerelease -" :tongue.gif:
Not the bottom part. I am unable to change/edit the title. It appears that it is bugged, and I have Neodymius looking into it. Apparently, it is bugged for him too. He believes that the topic is bugged. So...yup. Cool story :tongue.gif:

I don't have reddit or twitter so I am reporting what I have found here.
In a new creative world, if you fly along the X=0 or Z=0 axis (preferably from x=0, z=0), the terrain generation is a bit buggy. It has the terrain cuts like we had between version differences in the old days. It wasn't always along the same line, but it was definitely a terrain generation bug. I created two different random-seed worlds and it had a definite line along the different axis at intermittent intervals.
Again, this is on a NEW Creative world created in 1.9 pre 5, not an older world.

Now this is just speculation, but maybe the world is actually round now, and your seeing the 2 opposite sides of the map meet up

Thanks. Can anyone give me more details about the new water movements for the OP?
Whenever a water source is surrounded on all sides by blocks or water (not necessarily source blocks) and it has an air block or (non source) water block below, then that air/water block turns into a water source.

Support the Allocator! Find my inventions such as my pressure plate removal detector on the About Me page of my profile.
I'm still looking for more feedback on my configurable Redstone Gate mod. All gates and common circuits (such as e.g. clocks, edge detectors, latches and Flip-Flops) in a single block.

I think it is intentional. It eliminates the underwater currents when you place and remove a block. The behaviour seems to be carefully chosen such that it cannot automatically flood entire caves, nor does it seem to break typical ways of using water for automatic harvesting.

Anyone test if the water bug works with lava? Might be a short term way to infinite lava if it works :wink.gif:
I don't think it is a bug, and no it does not work with lava.

That's what it sounds like. And it does fix that problem... but I'll have to play around with the water mechanics to see what fun things I can do with it.
MOAR.

I was referring to in-game :tongue.gif:
Oh haha. :smile.gif:

No, seriously, check it out. It's got content!

Your post is appreciated. :smile.gif:

Is this a bug or something new you think?

Edit: nuts - it doesn't work

ok I am going to go try that.

But what this about camera control? O.o
