I hate to ask this but...
Can anyone suggest any good prebuilt computers within the range of 1200~$?
I had looked at CyberPower, and iBuyPower, as well as NCIX, but if at all possible I'd like to find something a bit cheaper.
Components-wise I was looking in the range of a 3570k and 7870.
I'm located in the US if that helps.

3570k with a 7870 in a prebuilt wont happen, they don't go for balance you'll find a i7 but its wasted
stupid i7 since it cant be overclocked at all, but as close as your going to get, considering this build would be maybe $750 building yourself
Agreed.
Take a look inside that system and outside too.
1. The power supply is an 800W no name brand
2. Super bare Z77 board
3. Reference 7870, not a good cooler, going to be loud
What did you mean when you said "stupid i7 since it cant be overclocked at all"

overclocking on a cheap motherboard with a horrible PSU is not a good idea, at all, ever
Thank you sir, I was looking for a link similar to that. If there's any more suggestions they would be appreciated, but I like NCIX.
I'm not really interested in overclocking for the sake of longevity, so thanks.
I also cannot build as my family doesn't trust me to build it myself (I don't really, either, though it would be mostly mine). Trust me, it sounds like fun, and I'd be open to try it, except that frying every part doesn't seem like it'd be that great. I'd rather pay a few extra dollars to have someone assemble it anyways.

Ah, I see.
I do it as a hobby, super fun.
When you find the PC config that you want, post it.
I want to see what you're getting.

Few things. If you aren't overclocking, the A50 is rendered useless, so save yourself 46$. Z77 is pointless without overclocking, get H77 and save a bit, unless you're getting SSD cache. Also, 16GB of ram is a bit too much unless you will be rendering or video editing, 8GB will be plenty. That saves you at least 100$.

Other than that, it all checks out.
Can't believe I missed the RAM..
Anyways they don't offer an H77 board, and I was also wondering about storage...
If I feel as though I'll be recording and saving videos on my hard drive, should I go with an SSD along with it?
I suppose I should have mentioned I wanted to record before, but there's just so many people that say the same thing. Anyways I'm fairly confident this build is more than enough to record at max, not really worried there, just with the storage.

7870 can record no problem.
If you don't plan to keep all your videos then you are fine with 1TB. I recorded 2 hours of MC at 1920X1080 and it took 200GB, I rendered it and it became only 30GB~
Use handbrake to compress the video file. Same quality just smaller size. Don't record onto an SSD, unless it has a lot of storage. Mainly, for average users, it's for boot drives or caching. OS goes to the SSD and the rest goes to the HDD.
Don't worry about 1 year warranty. Your parts are covered by the manufacturers for a while.

I'm not too familiar with the case though; Is this PC fairly upgradeable?

300R isn't the best case, but it is very upgrade-able. Able to add more GPU(s), hard drives, optical bay parts (fan controllers, drives etc.)
Your power supply only has 2x PCIe cables, so if you are adding another GPU, that won't be possible, but that's okay.
You are fine as long as you use a single GPU. Just make sure that the GPU doesn't use 2x 8pins.
I know this may sound a bit confusing, but it's nothing to worry about. If you ever want to upgrade, just post another thread or send me a pm, and it will be solved.

Thank you, you've been very helpful, and very understanding of my issue of not being able to build myself.
Honestly that's not too confusing, but I wouldn't have known that. I doubt I'll add a second card, even if I do, I could just get a power supply that supports 2 GPUs.
Corsair seems to be an extremely high quality and a really reputable brand, I'm actually surprised you found this at this pricepoint. I even looked myself on NCIX at all their systems and didn't see this.
As far as asking further questions goes, I would suggest just posting them either here or on the tech forum. Sending them in a PM might help you, but if it is in a thread the information can help everyone.

Corsair is a really great brand. If you run into any problems, you could contact CorsairGeorge on Overclock.net (after you submit a ticket and no one replys, rare situation). http://www.overclock...1/corsairgeorge
Forgot to say.
There are some reps on overclock.net that will help with your RMAs.
I contacted Xnine from NZXT for my NZXT mesh fan controller.
Have you seen how easy it is to build a computer? I know people on here who built their computers when they were 9. It's really easy. Seriously, don't just throw it out the window. You could easily get a 7970 in there with an i5 3570k if you built (assuming you don't need a monitor, if you do, then maybe a 7950.)
I'm not really interested in overclocking for the sake of longevity
Depending on the processor and how far it's overclocked, it can often help to increase the useful lifespan of the processor. They're built to last ten years, but you'll replace it in 3-5 years anyways.
Well it looks as though I'll be ordering within the next week. Should ship out before March 8th, then give or take another few days and...
I should have it before March 15th.
Surprisingly shipping from Canada to Kansas is 86$. That's about 2 dollars for every pound (35 pound PC)
As far as the monitor and peripherals go, I'll be ordering those from Amazon.
