To add onto what Korva said, be sure you pay attention and level up your Agility, and always, and I mean ALWAYS carry Restore Fatigue potions at lower levels. (On a side note, on my Dunmer archer I actually enchanted an amulet and ring to constantly restore fatigue, it cost me two Golden Saint souls, but I never had to look at my fatigue again :biggrin.gif:)
Also I'll add a poll for your favorite Elder Scrolls game.
I never fast travel in TES games :wink.gif:
O.o HOW?! How do you put up with that?
I bought Morrowind about last month, and I am COMPLETELY IN LOVE! I agree with Krova, the combat system in Morrowind makes a lot more sense, as you need to choose your skills, race, and class carefully, so you can hit stuff more often.
Anyways, my Argonian is a variation of Spellsword I made. The class I made for him is based around enchanting stuff, so naturally he's going to join the Mages' Guild. I made his Major Skills:
Enchant
Long Blade
Marksman
Medium Armor
Armorer
For his Minor Skills:
Spear
Short Blade
Destruction
Restoration
Security
I also made him join the Fighter's Guild for an extra source of money. He does need ammo for his marksman weapons too.
Anyways, I have a Steel Sword I enchanted that shocks for 1-3 points(I'm barely Level 2, as I had to restart my saves), a Trident from a mod that I named Poseidon's Trident. It hits for 1-3 frost damage. I also bought the Dwemer Jinksword that the Fighter's Guild vendor in Balmora sells. I got another silver dagger that I enchanted to soul trap, and a Wooden Crossbow (again, from a mod).
Mods I use:
Adul's Arsenal
Armorer mining mod
Adamantium Armor
Helm of Tohan
Ranger Tent
Marksman Enhanced
Suran Archery Tradehouse
Firemoth
Laura Craft Companion mod
Wands mod
I didn't explain it very well, but I liked Oblivion the most as it was the easiest and only playable game I could run.

Actually, this may not be a surprise, but in the fallout games(Fallout 3 and New Vegas, both made by Bethesda), skills have a big part in accuracy too. I mean, I still miss while aiming down my sites with a guns weapon, and my guns is 100. I used to miss all the time. Now, that being said, the Fallout Games are still focused mainly on the base accuracy of the gun, how you use them, ect.
The skills till have a big part to play, though.

I don't think I could ever stop playing Morrowind, ten years after release and I still love it as much as I did almost a decade ago. I even bought a sealed copy of the game just to keep as a symbol of my childhood. :smile.gif:
Maybe it's just me.
Since you enjoy Morrowind so much, could you recommend me some more mods. Nothing like Better Bodies or a graphics enhancer though, since I probably can't run those with my measly laptop.
Ah I see. That's OK. Thanks anyway. c:
I've played and enjoyed both of those, and you're both right and wrong.
In those games, more accuracy means that your bullets stray less far from the crosshairs. If you're close enough, your bullets are guaranteed to hit just because that accuracy "margin of error" doesn't exceed a certain distance from the crosshairs. In Morrowind, it's a numbers game. You could be aiming spot on, but if your stats aren't high enough: "Miss!"
I hope that made sense.
In Oblivion it was boring to walk everywhere because the terrain was pretty bland, but it also wasn't so bad because you could walk in a straight line from pretty much anywhere to anywhere.
In Skyrim, I do it because I love it. I have seen so much more of Skyrim just because I don't fast travel. I enjoy memorizing the terrain and eventually abandoning a map altogether; it makes me feel more like a "local". Not to mention it's absolutely gorgeous, and there are actually very few locations that don't have some kind of road or staircase leading up to them.
I also disable quest markers on my compass, but they appear on my map. I'd disable them on the map as well, but some of the miscellaneous quests just say "Find X". Even if I was told by someone where to find it, it doesn't record that in my journal.
I miss the Morrowind journal. Felt like a real chronicle of my adventure.
I like all of those ES games. It could be said I'm an expert on the lore, I research a lot and try to read all in-game books.
My favorite overall was Oblivion. Mostly because of the beatiful land, the lively world and the story. In terms of story, the best is Morrowind, and in gameplay, Skyrim. Arena and Daggerfall were fun too.
I'm sad my Morrowind disc doesn't work anymore. Oh well.
You liked the story in Oblivion? I thought it was dreadful.
Better than the pile of **** that was Skyrim's story. If it wasn't for a few good characters (Paarthurnax, etc), it would have been completely awful.Plus, Oblivion's main story may have been "meh" but the guild questlines were absolutely wonderful.
Not to mention Oblivion's main quest actually felt like a large event.
Oh, it made sense. I was just trying to explain in reference to other games by Bethesda, as accuracy is a big factor in their games(some, anyways).

I'm going to take a guess on why you haven't beaten the Skyrim story yet.
"Alright, I'm on my way to Whiterun to talk to the Jarl about the Dragon at Helgen."
*sees cave*
"Right after I clear this cave."
