Semi-related: I don't understand people who drink to the point of not remembering anything. I see why you want to get drunk, but why enough to have amnesia? So you will forget the possible fun you had? I don't get that.
All I know is that it's a "feel-good" moment for the time, and you'll just wake up feeling terrible, and your wallet empty.
Does that sound like fun to you? Not me.
In all fairness, a fifth of good potato vodka is only 15 or 16 dollars, and depending on the person, someone could get hammered beyond compare on 1/3 - 2/3 of the bottle, so not that expensive. If a person keeps their mind about them and is wary of their limits, they won't get very hungover, or at all.
Bar drinking however, is the fastest way to burn through money.
*shrugs*
People these days seem to find anything that destroys your brain cells fun.
No real studies linking alcohol to nerve damage, even in unreasonable quantities. There are studies however showing it induces temporary insulin resistance, and in chronic heavy use can alter neurogenesis and desensitize a number of receptors somewhat.
By chronic heavy use, I mean being somewhat drunk every day for 20 years.
The choice is yours, and the repercussions yours as well. Be they positive or negative.

Elaborate, alcohol doesn't cause memory loss. It does prevent the creation of new memories in heavy doses.
im scared to do so because of past experience.
Good thing alcohol can't do that. Only people and events can.
I'd want to read your book, see your secrets and delve into the depths of your mind so that we may entwine ourselfs in eternal bliss and harmony.
...too much dreaming.
