Do you know what I'm referring to? The statehood of Palestine. If Israel didn't care if they had statehood or not then they would've granted it a long time ago, like the rest of the world wants them to.
Israel doesn't grant Palestine statehood. The UN does.
I guess I worded that pretty poorly, but Israel shouldn't oppose Palestine's statehood so fervently, they say it "undermines peace", but peace cannot be achieved, with things set in their ways as they are.
Statehood wouldn't make a difference in the peace process, so discussing it in this way is irrelevant. It's a matter of nationalism and territory.
I'll admit, you probably have a far better understanding of this than I do, but how can you say it has nothing to do with peace? Nationalism and territorial conflict are huge obstacles to peace.
Those are. Statehood is not. Statehood has little to no effect, and if it has one it is a negative one on the basis that foreign forces are intervening in a conflict they don't understand.
I like how we're the only ones discussing this. *HINT HINT OTHER PEOPLE*
But statehood would definitely help, just as the establishment of Israel in '47 gave legitimacy to Jews, Palestinians need that same recognition, with separation from Israel, a state with which they have nothing on common, they'd be able to pursue their own goals as a country. There's really no point in Palestine being a part of Israel anyway, as Israel's aspirations as a nation are entirely different from those of Palestine.
They didn't even fog inside this house.

Those are Mafioso..
Keep it.

Whut are we talking about?
Eh, close enough.
Other one. Ed, Edd, and Eddy had the most hideous art.

You don't need to.
Is that show even still around...?
I have not watched it for years...
Wait for time
In the break of new dawn
We will never meet

Fixed that for you.
I'd like to believe most people are intelligent, but are either apathetic or ignorant. Though perhaps I'm naive in that desire.
^This is what I mean.
Yeah, who really cares about the possibility of a new state? I mean, it's not like that matters at all.
